Corba graves in Grand Prairie Cemetery

I uploaded photos for both individuals requested. I thought I would note that the father's name on his stone is written as "Clauss" Corba. The name on the mother's stone is hard to read. It could be Harmke or Harmka (cemetery records spell it Harmka). It also says she is the wife of Clauss Corba on her stone.

Hope this helps.

Hi John, if she is still alive can't she help you with your search for information? I would love to know what information she would have and any photos. The Cole information is few and far between.

RE: Cole
Hi John, this is what we have for Marvin G Cole so he did have a daughter Patricia but we don't know her married name. Are you related to the Coles?
MARVIN G COLE was born on 12 July 1899 in Love Co OK. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University and began his ministry in 1917 with the Oklahoma Baptist Convention. He was a well-known evangelist and was the former pastor of the Capital Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City OK. His wife’s name was Mary and they had two children, Wayne and Patricia. He died 14 Feb 1950 at the age of 51 at a Fort Worth Texas hospital after a brief illness. He is buried in the Cole Cemetery, NE of Ardmore, OK.

RE: hey cousin
I went back but could not find the friend request. I then went to Facebook and entered your name (John L Moore), but there were at least 7 John L
Moores, and I could not determine which one was you.
Could you send another friend request?

Oh, OK cousin. At the time I encountered the friend request I could not remember who you were or why you were requesting friendship. I will go back to accept the request.

RE: Godfreys
The connection I have to the Godfrey family is through a 2nd cousin once removed. The cousin was Martha “Mattie” Crawford (1884-1952). She married James Wallace Godfrey (1880-1947) in 1907. They were the parents of 3 daughters and 1 son.
Mattie’s son was named Crawford Godfrey (1913-2005). He was born in Kaufman County, TX and died in Cherokee County, TX. He married Helen Gray (1912-1997) but I do not know the names of their children.

RE: Jabes Hammonds
I have a picture of his family from a newspaper article that I would be happy to send you.

He was born in Jefferson County, AL, and died in Omaha, Texas.

That's about all I have.
