Besides posting memorials for my family and extended family, my major focus is to honor Slovak and Rusyn immigrants to America.
I continue to be amazed at the bravery of those individuals in leaving family and friends in their home village to make a long journey to a far off land for a dangerous job among strangers.
Normally, I add amplifying information to the memorial so that future researchers from the within the U.S. or overseas will be able to identify their relative or fellow villager.
I apologize for any mistakes and will gladly make corrections or transfer a memorial. Please feel free to use any of my photographs.

Thank you so much for the email, and for all the amazing research you do for all your memorials.

The headstone image you added to John K. Dernyar (Jr.), d. 1973, is not for him but for his father John K. Dernyar Sr (d. 1961) and his mother Anna.

Please remove the certificate on this memorial . I don't want this on any memorials that I manage. Photos only please.
Thanks so much.

I see you listed Dorothy in the genealogy for her father's grave listing. Are you related or know firsthand of this family? It looks like she married a great uncle of mine who moved to Ohio and lost contact with the family. Just curious if you had any information - thanks!

I am Leon's granddaughter and I want to thank you for the memorial. What was your information source, if I may ask? I am a beginner in genealogy and am working on my father, Joseph's lineage. However, I am having tremendous difficulty finding information on my grandmother, Karolina. Do you have any suggestions on where to find her death certificate? I created a memorial to her on January 31st, but I am lacking info, like I said. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also, just to let you know, Wanda and Isabella are the same person. She died during the influenza epidemic of 1918, at the age of 16. Her birth year is 1902, and yes, the tombstone IS incorrect...I have the same picture as you and I have been there to Calvary Cemetery numerous times. Again, thank you for what you do...it is much appreciated. God bless you and have a wonderful day!! ~Judy Troyan
I'm trying to find who was related to my great grandfather John Ratica (born 6/20/1858) who lived in Marblehead and is buried there. I think he had a brother Alexander who lived in Cleveland. But I am wondering if he had any other brothers and any sisters? Can you help?
Hello I am wondering what your relation is to Anna Liptak Tomas?
Thank you so much for taking the photo...it is much appreciated.

I can't thank you enough! Where did you get the death certificate for Marie? Using that information, the informant on the certificate, I was able to track my great uncle Joseph (Jay) Novak to the 1920 census and he's married - which means maybe a cousin or two! I have been researching my father's side of the family for years and every little piece in the puzzle is a victory for me. Thanks so much.
