Could you tell me exactly where this cemetery is? I saw you put a photo on the Find A Grave website.
Thanks in advance
|Pat Baker||Sent email...|
Okay, I gave it a try. I think the issue was that I couldn't get your website to come up--but it said 'sent' so fingers crossed!
Which Summers sibling of Susan are you descended from? Are you on ancestry.com?

Fantastic! I'd love to share info with you--all Cynthia's kids are still living, including my dad, and I've found two other half-families of my dad's as well via Eugene William Murphy (with living half brother and sister in their 80s and 90s!). It's been a big year...even traveled to meet them and gather more family history. Your website email is no longer working; do you have another one I can use to send docs and photos to?
|Pat Baker||I think we're related. ;)|
Hi James, I noticed your headstone contribution for Robert Wm Summers and Nellie Gray Cundiff Summers tonight; I think we may be related. My father's birth mother was Cynthia Mabel Cummings, dau of Susan Belinda Summers (and Ed Cummings), dau of Andrew Jackson Summers and Marietta Tilford. My dad (Don, eldest son of Cynthia Cummings and Eugene Wm Murphy) and his older sister Jan remember living with Grandma Linnie Parsons in her house at 876 Johnston St in Akron OH about 1935 (she remarried Charles Parsons after Ed died). My dad and Jan were Cynthia's 2 oldest kids by Eugene "William" Murphy. Several years after William abandoned the family, they were adopted by the Grimms (1941/1942) when Dad was 11, so their last names were then changed to Grimm. Do you have any information on Susan Belinda Summers ancestry line?

May I have permission to use your gravestone photo of Luther and Zona in my personal family tree? Thank you!

Thank you very much for your time and the photograph.
William Cundiff #55991673 now has a photo of his gravestone. He is buried in France.

I changed my profile page to include my email address. I couldn't access yours from your profile.
My grandmother was Inez Dickerson Johnson. Bettie and Thomas were her great aunt and uncle. Inez was the daughter of Luther Dickerson and granddaughter of William Page Dickerson, brother of Thomas. She is buried in the Dickerson Cemetery also.

Many of my family are buried in the Dickerson Cemetery in Salt Lick, Kentucky. I visited there often as a child with my grandmother and remember it when it was wild and overgrown. Thank you for documenting so many of the family relationships and posting pictures. I'd like to talk to you about your relationship w/ the Dickerson family. Is it possible to connect via private email? Jack Johnson
