Genealogy is my Pastime ...|
I shall not stray,
It maketh me to lie down
and examine half-buried Tombstones;
It leadeth me into still Courthouses.
It restoreth my Ancestral Knowledge;
It leadeth me into the Paths of Census Records
and Ships Passenger Lists for my Surnames' sake;
Yes, though I wait through the Shadows
of Research Libraries and Microfilm Readers,
I shall fear no Discouragement,
for a Strong Urge is with me.
The curiosity and Motivation, they Comfort me;
It demandeth preparation of Storage Space
for the Aquisition of Countless Documents;
It anointeth my Head with burning Midnight Oil,
My Family Group Sheets runneth over.
Surely Birth,Marriage and Death dates
shall follow me all the Days of my Life,
And I shall dwell in the House
of a Family History Seeker Forever.

|Vicky Johnson Crane||Ikstadts|
Mattie (actually Mary) and William John Ickstadt's monuments are under ICK rather than IK (the graves have ICK). My daughter entered the memorials and I added the photos. I do have their birth and death dates, states of birth, and marriage year so I will have my daugher add that information.
|Vicky Johnson Crane||Susan Hayes|
There is a Susan Hayes matching your dates that is buried in Edson Union, but I don't have a photo of her grave, at least not one that I could recognize. I will be going over my pictures again. Some I could not read. I will be able to go to the History Center in 9 days so I can check the records there and find out exactly where she is buried in the cemetry. Then I can either figure out which stone it is or take another.
Thank you for fulfilling my request for the photo.
