Bio and Links
Bio Photo In doing my family history research I found Find A Grave. Much to my surprise I found several of my family members on the site along with the pictures of their headstones. This inspired me to become a member and add some cemetery pictures and information. I hope I can help just one person as this site has help me.

You are welcome to use any photos which I have taken and posted on a memorial. I feel this is only fair because we all can not go to some of these cemeteries and take a picture for our selves.

Good luck with all your family research!

Yes, you may do that. I made a little revision but it is about the same. I also revised the one for my mother Orilee Mullions. You can do the same for hers if you like. I had previously noticed that you have been very active at this and I thank you for that. I would be interested in knowing if you are in the Cotopaxi area.

RE: Railroad Man
There are no two railroad men. I believe what happened is the caretakers(volunteers in the community)are attempting to mark all the graves. They did it first with the upright tin(?) marker which either had the wrong date or was misread. They then switched to a ground marker that in my opinion is so much nicer and is easier to read. The two markers had different dates on them but one was incorrect. I have looked at the records for the cemetery and talked to the person who maintains them. She is the one who told me the story and she confirms there is only one railroad man who died in 1886.

I made the name change; would you like the memorial transferred to you to link with his parents?

Norma Jean Burk

Please check your year of birth and year of death for Norma Jean Burk. You have 1840. It should be 1940 according to the headstone.
