This statement was taken from the Benton county MS.web site and I would like to share it with others.I am retired from the Illinois Central Railroad after forty three years service. The Find a Grave web site along with friends have enabled me to locate most all of my relatives.I wish to thank Find a Grave for their invaluable service. RE: Regarding some extra info you added to Meredith W Box
Thank you for this! It definitely helps to match up nearby families in the census.

RE: Regarding some extra info you added to Meredith W Box
Thank you for this info- one of the possible children missing from the time is Nancy J Box-- (Married a William Lesley Richmond). Nancy J's birthday was around 1827 in Alabama and my great aunt said she died about 1904 in Texas.

This Nancy J (also known as Nannie J) was last listed in the 1900 TX census as head of household with an Andrew J Richmond (her son) and Nancy Irdle Richmond (her granddaughter and supposedly Andrew's daughter.) I have been trying to find this Nancy Irdle's mother for years with no luck.

I want to solidify my connection with the Box family before any transfers, and hopefully I might be helpful to other Box descendants too along the way.

Do you happen to know your Ann's full name and married name?

Thanks again!

Regarding some extra info you added to Meredith W Box
Meredith W Box: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=41986930

Under his death date there is a bit of data about the box family: Husband of Nancy Taylor Box,Father of Henry Merritt Box,Tyre M. Box,William P.Box,John C.Box,Ann E.Box,and ? Box born between 1825-1830

I am very curious as to the source of this information, and why there is a question mark for one '? Box' born between 1825-1830...was it unreadable or missing from some source?

Thanks for all you've done!

Andrea

RE: Ruth Yarbrough - Memorial Park
Did you get a call back with Ruth's location in Memorial Park? I looked at her obituary and it does state she was interred in Memorial Park. Could the plot be in someone else's name? I have had that happen there when researching my relatives. I am going to the cemetery Sept 14. If you can get the location I will try to locate it. Thanks, Kathy

RE: Ruth Yarbrough - Memorial Park
I had the same problem with one of my relatives last week. 2 of her children had passed away and the plot was under one of the children's names. Her obituary is posted on findagrave and says she was interred at Memorial Park. Thanks, Kathy

I would like to fulfill your photo request for Ruth. Please contact the office at 901-767-8930 to get the plot location and send to me or post on the website. This cemetery has almost 30,000 graves listed in it. Thanks, Kathy

Your Request
I saw your request for transfers for two of your direct family members. The one you asked is not responding to any of us for corrections or transfers and your 30 days is almost up. This is from the, help with Find A Grave, and might help you:

----------------------------------------------

What if I suggest a correction and the contributor doesn't respond?
Have patience. Many contributors receive hundreds of corrections every month and it may take a while for your correction to be processed. Also, not every Find A Grave contributor is active on a daily basis on the site. If you have suggested a correction and waited longer than thirty days for it to be processed or if you have found a contributor who you believe to be permanently inactive, please send the correction to edit@findagrave.com and we will edit the memorial on their behalf.

What if a member will not transfer my relative to me?
If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter is not family, then your wishes supersede theirs under our "Family First" policy. If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact the administration and we will work on it for you.
Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave, and it is highly likely that some of those contributors will actually be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors.
Also, the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
