Thank you so much. Pat
|D Richmond||Marker Photos of Stanislaw & Frances Bolewicki (#59192505/59192565)|
Stanislaw & Frances Bolewecki are my son-in-laws great grandparents. His last remaining great aunt (Margaret Bolewicki Miller) passed away on 9 Jan & while I was updating the info on my tree, I came across your photos of their markers, along with a few other family members. I am writing to you to ask your permission to add your photos of these markers to my family tree.
Your consideration would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, PJ Richmond
Thank you for creating the Kvet family listings at Holy Redeemer. Could you please transfer management of sites to me:
-Josef and Maria Kvet
-Wenceslaus and Elizabeth Kvet
I'd also like to manage William Kvet's daughter's site, if you have not identified a more direct family member:
-Elizabeth Kvet Schieber, 1st cousin to Gladys Koet Armstrong
Gr-granddaughter of Albert Kvet and Mae Clarke.
Granddaughter of Gladys Koet Armstrong

Can you tell me where to find the info you posted for the Kvets? I wasn't able to find it. We thought they were buried in Oak Lawn, but the office had no record. Albert Koet is my great grandfather.

Sorry, hit the send button too early.... Ralph Clarke sr. Would have been my great grand uncle. His brother was John.
His sister was Mae Clarke, who married Beggs, then Kvet, then Stein. Their mother was Gladys (Bleeze) Clarke-Ranney. My grandmother is Mae Clarke's daughter.

Good morning. Are you related to the Kvet etc families of East Baltimore. We're trying to locate distant family members to pass along old photos, and hopefully find a few as well.
My great grandfather was Albert Kvet, changed to Koet in the learly 1920s. His daughter, Gladys, is my grandmother... Alive and well, but needs to make connections ie give out family photos, as she is approaching 90.
Also looking for genealogy info on Ralph Clarke's family.
Any redirect would be appreciated.

I hope you'll be able to find the original full documentary production somewhere. If I had a way to convert VHS to digital format I'd gladly burn and mail you a DV-R made from my original tape. Which at some point, incidentally, I need to buy whatever type technology that does that, as I have so many great old immediate family videotapes from circa 1986 through the 1990s (probably into the very early 2000s, actually), but still all strictly on VHS, and that's now approaching obsolescence before many more years pass, so will need converting before there at some point is no such thing as VCRs any longer to play them on. Meanwhile, I'm so glad you like the memorials I've created or manage or that I've added content to. I am touched by and very grateful for your kind words regarding my Find A Grave efforts. I put a lot of love and TLC into all my Find A Grave work and try to really honour each individual being covered. Much harder to do with some than with others, of course, when/if there's very little known about this or that person, therefore really there may not be much I'm able to find to work with. I love working with vintage pictures. Still LOTS more great ones of them to eventually get scanned in and posted. Best regards, Dave

Hi, Dianne! The MPT documentary, released in 1990, is now also in a 12 short videos very different serialized form (and with later interview add-ons included that weren't part of the original PBS documentary, which was much better produced and entirely smooth flowing and highly polished, like what you'd expect from a nationally and internationally airing PBS documentary) on YouTube, retitled "Caring For Walter" (the PBS documentary's title was "Marge & Walter"). It's nowhere near as good as the original "real" documentary - is a clearly lesser repackaged version, intended for training and caregiving guidance purposes - and comes off quite clunky, though still is overall good - just isn't much like or up to the lustre of the "real" documentary. There's one part in both the "real" documentary and in the repackaged YouTube version of it where Margie's on the phone with my mom (Stella), which the phone call (Margie's side of it) is shown in the original documentary, but you just hear the audio track of Margie speaking to my mom on the YouTube version. (Also, in the original documentary, my Lewandowski grandparents' wedding portrait can be seen multiple times displayed in the background, though never is visible in the YouTube serialized version.) I actually was at home and listening in to that phone call, with my ear close to the receiver, when it happened, so totally remembered that conversation when I later saw/heard it on the documentary, which was pretty neat. Incidentally, my 1st cousin Vinnie (Margie and Walter's eldest child) died the other month, which I just learned of the other day via his sister Linda's Christmas card to me, which was why/how I got inspired to return to work on that family group's Find A Grave coverage, when I created a memorial for Vinnie. All the great new memorials you added, for Margie's sisters (who I had known of them, via her often speaking/writing of them, but didn't know any of Margie's sibs' specifics, other than their names/nicknames and some generalities, but none of the sisters' marriage names), is outstanding for rounding out that family group. Again, thanks so very much! You've done a terrific job! Dave PS: I just added Margie's lenghtly newspaper death article to her memorial a short time ago tonight.

Hi, Dianne. Excellent job that you've done tracking down the several Pilat siblings! Thanks so much for creating the new memorials, and for also linking them to the parents, plus adding the obituaries! I'm only related to Martha "Marge", who was the wife of my Uncle Walter Lewandowski (a nice MPT PBS documentary was created about them in 1990 or so), and who was like a grandmother figure to me (as was Walter like a grandfather figure [all my actual grandparents died before I was born, and Margie and Walter were the closest to stand-ins that anyone ever was; I loved them both dearly). I'm sure that any Pilat family member who eventually discovers that family block of Find A Grave memorials will be really happy to see everyone back together. Again, great job you've done and always do! Keep up the superb work! Best regards, Dave PS: Happy Holidays!
