I live in the Quad Cities area of Illinois/Iowa and regularly visit cemeteries - something I have done since I was a teenager - always found it interesting. I enjoy finding the graves for F.A.G. requests. I always clean off the stones, clip the grass, etc. before I take a picture. If you need information or pictures from this area - please send me an email.

Hi - I forgot to give you his name, it is Charles Magnus Johnson B: 08/18/1858 in Sweden. thanks again Carol
Hi - I hope you can help, I'm looking for my husband's grandfather, he was born 08/18/1858 in Sweden, came here in 1884, married to Anna Lena (Carlson) Johnson in Sweden. They lived in Dekalb county Illinois and he was sent to Elgin State Hospital for the insane in 1899, and was transferred with three others to Watertown State Hospital in 1917, and in 1919 he was still living there. I don't show a death record for him, and is he buried there in this cemetery of Resthaven. Thanks for your time, and many blessings, I've been looking for him, because everybody matters. I also, made a promise to my husband who is now deceased, I would find what happened to him. Thanks again for any information you might have. Many blessings Carol Johnson

Thanks so much for looking for Edith. Her maiden name was Shear. It's possible she married again after divorcing Henry White.
Her full name was Edith Caroline Shear-White.
Thanks again! Sue Lane
