Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Kelly (Barnette) Bennett. I enjoy geneaology and finding out about my heritage. I have been doing this for about 20 years. My husband Isaac Bennett of 21 years is Native American Indian and that first interested me in that. My first husband, my second husband's brother passed away in 1984. Lost a lot of other relatives and friends since then, including my mother on May 17, 2009. I think we owe it to them to keep their memory alive. Names in my family and my husband's families are- Hall,Dijak,Hartlieb,Snow,Barnette,Bennett,Hunt,
Graverette,McKinstry,Graham,Stall,Near. I would like to thank everyone who volunteers to take pictures and records this information

RE: Basil Bennett
Hi Kelly! It was good to hear back from you. My maiden name was Schaff. I used to live up north and went to school with Basil. We were friends. Please tell him I said hello. I did hear about his accident from a friend from school. I am glad that he made it and is doing good. If you have any more questions please message me. Have a great day!

RE: Cemetery Question
I forgot to answer your question about adding a memorial and requesting a photo. You said your Dad is buried in a National Cemetery. Do you know the name of it? If so, on the main Find A Grave page click on search for a cemetery. Type the name of it in. When you get to the cemetery page, type in his surname. If it's no listed on there already click on the link to add a name. Then you would type his info in to create the memorial. Once you do that on his memorial page there will be a button to click on to request a photo. Click on it and then you have to wait for a volunteer in the area to claim it and upload the photo. If you have any other questions just let me know.

Basil Bennett
I just noticed that you have a Basil Bennett listed in Oakwood Cemetery. Is he by chance related to Basil Bennett that went to school in Standish?

RE: Pictures
Hi Kelly! Well, for editing my picture size I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I edit the size down to 400x500 or 500x500. It just depends on the picture. If you don't have Microsoft Office on your computer I'm not sure how to help. If you have any more questions feel free to message me again.
