Files Valley Cemetery
This relates to the status of the cemetery in Files Valley, TX. In the 1970s, a board was established to oversee maintenance of the cemetery. All of the board members are now deceased. In order to insure some level of maintenance going forward, a new board should be established. A meeting seems necessary to reestablish the board and the first group to make contact with, before going to the general population of the community, in my opinion, should be those FindAGrave Contributors who have shown an interest and demonstrated some effort to preserve the memory of those interred there. If you have experience in managing small cemeteries and/or the interest to participate in this process, please contact me via email at

Regards and thanks for all your work for FindAGrave.

Dear Tim,

Thank you so much for sponsoring the graves of my grandparents. This means so much to me. I understand that one can "turn over" the memorial to someone in the family if they wish. I would be honored if you could "turn over" these to me, if that is something that you do. I am not certain how many memorial sites one can have at one time. Would you please answer my question?

Thanks so much,

Pat Corbell Gonzalez

Phamey Littlefield
Tim, concerning the memorial #42720348 which you created for Phamy Elizabeth Littlefield in Soda Springs Cemetery, Parker Co, Texas. I think maybe you canvassed the cemetery and posted the memorials in Findagrave. Do you have a picture of the headstone? I believe this may be Phamy Elizabeth Gilbert Littlefield who was born about 1825 in Alabama. She married Wilson Littlefield, and died January 12, 1860 in Parker Co, TX. I would appreciate a reply and thanks for your help.
