Are you related? If so could we communicate? I traced my ancestor to James F. Lewis 1861 son of Peter Lewis. My mother's mother was Frances M. Lewis 1893 daughter of Peter Lewis and Mary E. Ferris. Do you know any more family history?

I am wondering if you have any more info on these 2. I believe that they are my great great great great grandparents. I love seeing the pictures you have attached to Jane's page. Thank you!

Sure hope you can help me out. I find two Avery Nostrandt's in Homestead Twp. Cemetery, Benzie County, one by you and one by someone else. Yours has a picture of the stone. Do you think they could be one and the same. I don't have birth or death info on my guy. But in here it says born 1852 died 1916. And born 1852 and died 1917. Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. Take care and have a great day!
p.s. just luv searching the family tree - lots of fun.

|Roibeard53||Corrections to memorials|
Excuse me for jumping in on your conversation with Todd Whitesides about correcting information on memorials. I've done a lot of photos for him in Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery lately and saw it on his message board.
I saw that you sometimes wait 3 to 4 months for action. You only have to wait 30 days and if nothing has been done, you can submit the proposed correction directly to Find a Grave and they will make the change if warranted. There is a specific FAQ about it under the Editing and Correcting Memorial Information section of the FAQs.
Send it to email@example.com
I'm in the process of waiting out that period myself on one suggested correction I made.
Also, sorry if I'm telling you something you already know.
I do almost all of my volunteer work in First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, Westfield Presbyterian and Rahway (formerly Rahway Presbyterian) and Connecticut Farms Presbyterian cemeteries so if I can help you in any of those, let me know.

I'm not sure if you're aware of it ot not, but you have duplicated some memorials of the Crane-Megie family of Westfield, NJ. They already have memorials listed under the Presbyterian Burial Ground in Westfield.
My husband is a 2nd great grandson to Margaret Nostrandt and Ernest Daniel Avery Straubel.

A thanks for adding the photos attached to this family. It was so nice to show my husband some faces attached to his ancestors.

Thanks! He does a lot of the research, I do a lot of the data input and some of the photos here on find a grave. Anyway, if he has any more links for me to run down I will save you the trouble then I will transfer Nathaniel to you. I wish we had researchers like Gar for all of our family lines. He has done us all a real great service here.

I need to check with Gar and see if there are any more links or other information to add and then after I'm sure I haven't missed any of our information, I would be glad to transfer it. I'm sure you will want to add what you know. I am a Noyes descendant--but not directly from Nathaniel. I have been helping to build the family links, so that those interested in this family can easily visit the memorials and get to know the relationships. We've got a lot done in a short amount of time and it has been fun to see the project come together.
Thanks for letting me know about the status of the grave site and the stone--I will make a note of it and in the next few days I'll see about the transfer.
