My totem, Percival Fugi, who left us much too soon. His heart was true and strong and he held us in the "palm of his paws".
If I have created a memorial and I am not related to that person, I will gladly transfer it to a family member. It gives me great pleasure to place a memorial into the hands of their family.
So, If you are related, please let me know and I will transfer their memorial into your keeping. Please include a link to the memorials you are requesting as well as your Find A Grave ID number, it is such a help.
Like many of you, I've added quite a bit of data to my family tree through the generousity of Find A Grave contributors and I firmly believe in Paying It Forward.
Too, some of the older cemeteries have been lost and with that loss has come graves that can no longer be identified. Many other gravestones have become eroded with the passage of time and are no longer legible. Other cemeteries have been vandalized and severe storms and tornados have done their damage. These are just a few of the problems that beset our cemeteries, so thanks to all you Find A Gravers who are helping with their preservation.
We can add or correct a number of these omissions by simply logging on to Find A Grave and, as has been so aptly said by others, Paying It Forward.

Regarding transfers, Find A Grave recommends the following:
"...Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren..."

Good morning, Maryanne...I am doing some family history and made a connection this morning. I involves several contributions that you have made...I see an opportunity to link some people.
This week I had requested photos of ancestors at Spann, specifically Roxie Ann (Poag) Rippey. She was married to Oscar Lee Rippey. This morning I realized that there is another Oscar, spelled Rippy...tied to Sadie Rippey with daughter Effie Beatrice Ripey. It appears that Oscar was widowed by Sadie in 1916 and remarried Roxie in 1920. He was later buried at Spann with her. He died in 1951.
