If there is a memorial I have added for someone you would like transferred to you, please just let me know, as long as they are not a relative or close friend of mine. I love being able to help honor those that have passed on before us! If you find a photo that you would like to have that I have posted for a loved one, please let me know and I can e-mail them to your direct e-mail address, or you are more than welcome to copy them yourselves.
I spend a lot of time walking the cemeteries and getting information and photos for the memorials, but my purpose is not to have "ownership" of them, but to make as many available for family, loved ones and genealogy researchers that I can.
I would like to especially thank Charlotte Stevens Schneider, without her help I would not be able to complete alot of the memorials I have done. She has been diligent in finding obituaries and dates for so many of the memorials we have worked on!
I am so sad to say that Charlotte passed away on February 11, 2011. She will be so missed by all that knew and loved her! Charlotte is now rejoicing in the presence of our Lord! | |

| Choska Bottom Cemetery in Wagoner County
Donna,
I was wondering if you knew anything about Choska Bottom Cemetery. It seems a lot of my ancestors who came to Oklahoma in the Creek removal are buried here and was wondeing if this is one of the original old cemeteries they all used. I've been trying to find Jim "Sisseeperchee" Root who is supposed to be buried there with his wife Alice. So far only 25 burials are listd for that cemetery. Would you have any idea of the names of original cemeteries people from the Creek Trail of Tears are buried? I live in Massachusetts and have no idea where to find a list of really old Oklahoma cemeteries where Native Americans from the early removals are buried. Thanks for your time.
