Thank you Roy. I'm related through the Whitlock side and my husband comes through the Bunderson side. So we are both related through marriage to these folks. Sharon

yes, please transfer to me. thanks
Roy,one branch of my Howards from Madison County, Illinois, did go out to Utah with the Morman migration there. Was that your family? They will all be in a book on the Howards that a Mrs. Lindstrom is about to publish. Will let you know when it comes out.

Thank you, Roy. Yes, my father's and Alice's mother was a Howard. There is a Mrs. Lindstrom out in Utah who is about to publish a book on the Howards. She is distantly related, and you may be, also, if you know of her It is a very large family, the Howards having been in this Country since possibly the early 1700s. My third great grandmother, Lydia Stewart Howard, was the first white woman to set foot in Madison County, Illinois, in 1804. She came with some of her children after the death of her husband, Abraham, in Tennesee. My great grandfather, William Munroe Howard was born in Illinois and came from there to Wisconsin in 1857.
Tomorrow I am having lunch with another William Howard who is a descendant of Lydia and Abraham, also. He had gone all the way to Madison County, IL. to search for information on the family, and while at the historical society there was given a folder that I had put together on the family. It was the only thing they had on file on them although they appear in the County Histories. Bill contacted me immediately while still there. We both live in suburbs of Minneapolis! Another first cousin of mine will join us tomorrow.
Find A Grave has become my new favorite site for finding people and information. Thank you for all you have contributed.

Thanks for the catch on the wrong month on the death date.
If you are related to this person I would be glad to transfer her memorial and any other family member memorials I have to your care.
