I've always been a bit interested in my family history and the stories. I grew up hearing stories of my mother's family and how they immigrated from the Black Sea area and my father's family having to change their name because of trouble with the law.
When my late husband was diagnosed with cancer and I found myself at home with him a lot between doctor and hospital visits, my curiosity of who I am and where I came from took over. Kind of a life goes on in spite of the loss of those you love thing I guess. I have been very much enjoying finding things about my family and its' history. Haven't yet found a wanted poster of great-great-grandpa Andrew Jackson Arlint a/k/a John S. Boyles, but have lots on his civil war service - and some of my other relatives history.
It's a relatively simple website, but you can see some of my research at my website: ArlintKrauseFamily.com.

 | Richard Morris Hi Dee, I made the changes to his memorial that you suggested. Are you related to them?

 | RE: Donna & Rosina Arlint Your very welcome. The person at Victory Memorial Park was very helpful and thought that they were the crematorium but that the ashes would have been given to the family.

 | Christine Sholin Thank you so very much for the photo of my 2nd great-grandmother, Christine Sholin. It is a very modest stone, but it means a lot to me. I really appreciate this! | | | Carol Cotton
 | Knapp photos Thank you for your efforts. I didn't create these memorials so I assumed (wrong!) they were correct in regards to the plots. Thanks again for trying. | | | Debbie
 | Albert A. Vahl headstone Hello Delores, Thank you so much for the photos of my great grandfather's headstone. I knew he was buried in Portland, but wasn't sure where. Again, Thank You! DebbieAdded by Debbie on Sep 19, 2012 11:10 AM | | | Sandy
 | John Perrin Thank you for checking the cemetery for me. I will see if I can find more information and get it back to you! SandyAdded by Sandy on Sep 03, 2012 9:26 AM | | | darryn.rose
 | Krause I just added Harold Krause to the Nenana South cemetery. If you want me to transfer this to you or make any modifications to it, just say the word. | | | Luella Hinrichsen
 | RE: James Boyles I wrote it down in my notes and will keep my eyes open. When I saw the Malinda Boyle I thought she might have married his brother, they were buried a few rows over and off to the side a little, never caught the no s until I was home. Love these puzzles! Good luck on your searches! | | | Luella Hinrichsen
 | RE: James Boyles Delores, You asked about Malinda, said your dates were different then the other Malinda there. That Malinda & family are Boyle, no s. I was so happy , thought I found her for you, and noticed that. :( There are no markers by James, but I will try to see if she is anywhere else around here. The write-up about him was very interesting, the Mary Catlin is buried at Pawnee City, it is harder to find women, since it is a possibility they remarried. Luella | | | | [View all messages...] |
