Fortenberry - Sunny Home Church Cemetery
Hi there! I am researching my Fortenberry family tree and noticed that you had added pictures to two of their profiles (thanks!). My relative is L. Dayton Fortenberry (#19653757). In the same cemetery there is also an Ila M Fortenberry (#19653748). Do you happen to know how these are related? I was wondering if Ila might be a spouse? Thanks so much~ have a great day!

Polly Ann McBroom Tucker
Polly Ann Snow McBroom Tucker was the 2nd wife of Greenberry Tucker, son of Simeon Tucker and Mary West. Greenberry Tucker was probably named for Greenberry West, also buried in Concord Cem, who was Mary West's brother.

My info says Polly Snow was the daughter of John Snow and widow of William McBroom

Yes Sir, you sent me a suggestion to delete a duplicate memorial. I don't feel it's a duplicate. I have it connected to her parents with a picture of her mother and to her grandparents with pictures of them.

Sincerely,

William Price

I would just like to say, its a honor to be kin to Maxwell. My great-grandmother, Zora (Lawson)Fikes, was his first cousin. Its crazy what a small world it is. I went to Winston County HS for about 4 months and then I went to Mortimer Jordan, where he graduated.

Hi - Thank you for taking the pic for Shirley for me, it is very appreciated.

If you have the original pic (regular resolution), would you please send me a copy of it. Sometimes the pics are hard to make out on find a grave after you have to resize them.

Also, if you took any additional pics of this gravesite, I would love to have copies. Since I live so far away, I like to get a point of reference of where the grave is located.

Thanks again.

Thank you so very much for the photos of the Burnette family.

I am a volunteer and state manager for www.theheartofdixie.net and I am helping someone trace their family. The dates will help us trace the family.
