I've been researching my family history since 1996. Along with my mother, we like to find out as much as we can and enjoy learning who our ancestors were - not just by name but what their occupations were, how & where they lived, etc. I live in San Mateo, FL and have a lot of family history here and all around Florida which makes it easier to work on it when we find the time.

I continue to research my lineage. Direct surnames include: on my father's side mainly Dix, Schutz, Carr, Teuscher, MacLane, Bacus, Turney, Stuki, Lounsbury; and on my mother's side mainly: Wilkinson, Phillips, Rake & Reyes.

I do my best to find either personal accounts/ stories or documents to back up all my research. I'm also on ancestry as apoupore1. Feel free to message me anyway you like

I found your info on find a grave. Peter & Sarah were my 5th gr grandparents. I'd be thrilled to have a picture of their graves or any info you might have on them & descendants through William & Mary Ann, Sanford & Marian, Thomas, Jr & Matilda, then Susan who married Alexander (Ham) Hutchison & had my gr pa, John B Hutchison in Vienna MO. Thanks.

John Smith Baccus
Hello...the name of Smith as a middle name in your Baccus line...My ancestor was John Smith and lived in the part of Scioto co, OH as did the Baccus family. Did your Baccus line live in the Pine Mill Creek area of Wheelersburg, Scioto co OH?

Thanks, Carol Nourse

LeClair
Amy,

Thank you for posting the photo, it was taken many years ago when I first started genealogy and knew nothing of find a grave. I have talked to her brother and he was not sure what year she died, 1956 or 1957. I am calling the cemetery Monday to see if they know which year. I will send the info as soon as I get it.

Thanks,
Frank

Miller
Amy,

Good evening, I found the memorials for George Miller and Mary L. LeClair Miller in Immaculate heart of Mary, Churubusco, NY. They have no death dates.

Mary Louise LeClair and George Miller are my second cousins. I have both their obituaries and when they died they were living in Plattsburgh. Both are buried in St Peters Cemetery, Plattsburgh NY. I have requested their photos of the tombstones.

Went and did a recon of Oak Hill East even tho I didn't have my camera with me. Found Flossies grave but it only has a temporary marker on it. Will get it and post it tomorrow and you can decide if you want to go with that.
