Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very new to the family history hunt but already love it. I am interested in the sir- names Crosby, Hall, McDonald, Hiers and Lefils from Hamilton Co., Florida. -Also have ties to Payne and Gregory of Central Southern Ky. If I posted a picture or memorial, I might have more information for you.

Levi Arnold
Hi Kim,

I contacted you back in February. I have gotten back into the Arnolds on FindAGrave and linking them. I came across your memorial for Levi Arnold again. I never thought to ask you what information you had on Levi.

Specifically, do you know anything about his burial, since you had "non-cemetery burial" on his memorial.

RE: Jacynthia Wheeler Payne
I don't have much on this family. I suggest you go to and find Doug Moore's entry on the Paynes in Kentucky. He could probably help you. He has been great help to me. He knows a lot about the people in Monroe County, Kentucky and other Counties near by. Good Luck.

Levi and Abigail Arnold
You stated that Abigail Redding Arnold was Levi's second wife. Do you know who his first wife was? Do you have any more info about Levi, Abigail, his first wife, and so forth?
I'm trying to see if this particular Levi is related to an ancestor of mine. If you could give me any info, I'd gladly appreciate it.

Jim Closson
John R. Gregory
Hi Kim. I am Jim Closson. John was my great great grandfather on my mother's side of the family. Genealogy is my hobby. My Grandmother, Leona Huffman, was the second wife of James Willis Ogden, my Grandfather. They had 6 children from the marriage. Prior to Leona, James was also married to Willie Gregory, from which 7 children were born. Now for the mystery. The eldest girl from the second marriage claimed that the two wives were sisters. The Barren County, KY 1880 census shows Josephine (Josie) Gregory living at home with her parents John R. and Sallie. The hunt was on, and I have found a connection in the 1900 and 1910 Barren County, KY census. Josie is shown in the 1900 census, unmarried, with 4 children (6 claimed)who all have the surname Gregory. The given names match the names of my grandmother and my great aunts and uncles. The 1910 census shows her married to Thomas A. Huffman, but the children in the house all have the surname Gregory, and the given names match my ancestors. I believe that some time after 1910, Thomas Huffman adopted the Gregory children. Leona Gregory became a Huffman, along with her siblings. Any information you might have on John and Sallie's daughter Josephine would be greatly appreciated. She died in Illinois.

Hi Kim,

I will be in Tampa for Thanksgiving, if you can find out where Doris is buried in Garden of Memories, I'll be happy to get the photo for you. It's a pretty big cemetery!
