John Moore
Hi Kris,

We have conversed before about our Moore ancestors. I also descend from John Moore, but through his son Benjamin B. Moore (and Benjamin's wife Sarah). I've given you information before on Benjamin B. Moore. Anyway, I noticed that on our ancestor John Moore's memorial, you have listed his birth date as 7 August 1782, when it should be 7 October 1782. His headstone states 73 years, 5 months, and 15 days. I found an 1855 and 1856 calendar online and in counting back the months and days from 22 March 1856 (when he died), it would put his birth date in the month of October, not August. I also looked at the 1782 and 1783 calendar years. According to those calendars, he was born on a Monday on 7 October 1782 and died on Saturday, 22 March 1856.

You can check out the those calendars yourself and count back to see, if you go to this website:

Velma Dixon Exceeds Photo Limit
I am trying to upload a tombstone photo for Velma Dixon in Section 11 and you have so many family photos Find A Grave won't take it. The max is 5 so no one will know what her tombstone looks like unless you remove a picture.
Thank you, Pat Johnson

John Montgomery Johnston
Dear Kris,

I believe that my 3rd great grandfather may have been buried at the Hillsboro Cemetery. I have not been able to locate any death records that list where he was buried. I was wondering if you could keep a look out for John M. Johnston b. 1808, d. 1876 during your travels through this cemetery. If you do find him, I'd love to have a picture of his headstone. Thank you!

Jarvis/Bradley Family
I have been looking for your e-mail address for several years. We communicated a few years back but after several computer replacements I lost your address. My great grandparents were John T Jarvis and Mary Bradley Jarvis. I have begun working on this tree again lately after connecting with a cousin's daughter who is also doing family tree research. My e-mail is I can't o much research anymore as I moved to Florida two years ago. But the cousin I mentioned lives in Lansing, MI and has access to a lot of information.

James Garfield Condiff
I am related to James Garfield Condiff via the Condiffs and McCulloughs. I have not been able to find them for some time. Thanks for posting this information. I wonder what drove them to live in Osawatomie, Kansas from the coal mines in Mulberry, Kansas.

Re: William Townsend
I'm sorry I could not find the stone you wanted a photo of. I just finished walking the entire cemetery and photographing all of the stones. His was not among them. The photo I left on the page explains why it might be missing.

Nancy Ann Fisher Lee # 47725795
You posted the picture on this memorial and I got the following message:

Dear J,
Nancy Ann Fisher Lee # 47725795 is my grandmother, I do have more information and the picture shown as their wedding picture is not correct - I do have the correct one. The one shown is her daughter Jessie & husband Walt.
Is there a way for me to go change it if not how can I get it changed?? I have contributed to Find a Grave as Mary Lee Stewart.

RE: Dorothy Williams
Hi, thanks for the info. That is very odd. I would probably get in touch with the owner of the page at to check with them. I would be happy to delete it but a lot of info was added by them afterwards and I'd hate to delete it without them not agreeing.
