George Alexander...Hazel Cemetery, Bell Buckle TN
Hello :)

I noticed a request for George Alexander in Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle as I was posting photos for this cemetery. I photographed the place last year and do have this stone. I was going to post this one but as I photograph "in situ" I was going to hold off as it is a request..or at least let you know. You may want to add another request as the dates may not be clear on the stone. I took three views when I took it so I would have the dates but the full shot of the stone had them covered.

Blessings :)

Minerva Crum McFarland
David - There are no Odd Fellows cemeteries in Franklin County, Missouri since about 1930. The correct cemetery for your memorial of Minerva McFarland is Union Cemetery, Union, Franklin County, Missouri. Would you please move her to the correct cemetery.

Findagrave has been notified to delete this incorrect cemetery.

Link to your memorial:

RE: John Whiteside
Hi David,

Thank you so much for the information you provided.

I created a memorial for Iva and linked her to John and George. I checked the cemetery records and it appears that John and Iva are buried next to each other. As of 1985, there is no record of Iva's daughter buried at Hazel, so I am assuming that she died after that date.

I didn't know about John and Iva's son Morton. I have added him to my database. I found a record of a marriage for John Morton Whiteside III and Judith Ann Cartwright. Do you think this might be their son?

Thanks again. You meet some of the nicest family members on this site :-)

Thanks for making the links. Harriet was my 3rd great aunt. Thanks also for the biographical info. Quite revealing!

Fairmount Cemetery

I see you are in the Davenport area. My great grandmother is buried there. I never had the chance to meet her. I would love to have a photo of her stone. Do you still do photo requests for Fairmount Cemetery?

Thank you

McFarland may have already realized this, but I noticed when I went to check out Naomi's request that Lela and Naomi appear to be the same person so there is a duplicate memorial page. You might want to request that the person who entered her information back in 2006 transfer her to you...just a thought.
