I love spending time with my family and doing genealogy. (Tetreault, Deneault, Racette, Schmidt, Richard, Giroux, Dyson, Miller, Blochlinger) just to name a few)
A Cemetery is a history of people, a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace today.
A Cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering always.
THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust. | |

No he wasn't there. I looked all around. Look at the other Hoss' that I've entered. The big Hoss stone with a bunch of Barnes and Hoss' is right in front of where Esther is buried. I'm sure they're part of your family. If you want their memorials I'll glady transfer them to you. Just use the edit button on the memorial. | | | Beverly

Saw your memorials for Alfred and Rose DeMars and their children, buried in the St. Peters Cemetery in Aurora, Kansas. I am looking for the burial site (and additional information), for their daughter Celia. (She might have married a Smith or a Woods). Any help you can give me, would be most appreciated!

I think you will be surprised at a list I have of people buried in this mausoleum. They seem to match some of the ones you are searching for. Dandurand, Giroux. It is a private locked mausoleum. The caretaker was a great guy (wish all were) and let us in! Took pictures of everyone interred in there. Will email you this list in alphabetical order. | | | Sharon Christensen
