Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Parker, TX and enjoy researching my family's history. I grew up near Laingsburg, MI. My family lines come from Crawford & Henry counties in OH, many counties in MI, and Wurttemberg, Germany. I find lots of useful information in graveyards and on Findagrave.
Family research includes the names of Stirm, Drews, Redman, Lefke, Montague, Parker, and Rowley.
I have been working on my family tree off and on since 1985. I enjoy researching for others and enjoy seeing how much information I am able to gather for them.
I am a member of the Mayflower Society. Four ancestors were on the Mayflower, John Alden, William Mullins, Priscilla Mullins, Edward Fuller. Also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution through Aaron Rowley.

RE: Parker/Carle families
Hi, Leon!
I'm digging around on here and and am hitting a dead end when it comes to Gottlob. Do you have any info on him or Elizabeth? If I have the right people, Elizabeth must have died when Mary was very young, and Gottlob's second wife was Christiana, I think. Am I looking at the correct people?

I think the Carle line has the most information available to me on my father's side. I haven't even begun to dig around on my mother's! It's like putting a big puzzle together, isn't it?

Hi Leon - I uploaded my picture for Mary but I see you have your own for Robert. Would you like me to transfer them to you? David

Yep, Eleanor was my grandma, but I never knew her since she died 7 years before I was born. Her family, the Carle family, is the big bratwurst makers in Bucyrus.

RE: Gilbert Parker
I inherited the sites from my half-sister, who wasn't blood related to them so she passed them on to me. Gilbert "Dip" Parker was my paternal grandpa. My dad was Gilbert "Dippy" Parker, Jr.

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner! I was digging around again since it had been a while...I was just telling someone that I had seen a picture of my great x4 grandfather and wanted to see it again. Turns out, it was posted by you!

I am going to ask my cousin for the family bible back, so if you have any questions about the Parker line I may be able to get some answers for you.

Sorry to hear that. I went back to the spot a few days ago (to look again) and couldn't find one either.

If you want to remedy the situation, I've been referring people to Joann Brady at Oakview. She has been extremely helpful to me in finding gravestones.
