Thank you so much for that info - our family records show Mollie had no children and I kept arguing that Edwina could not be Christian's 2nd wife's child but they insisted she was - I figured eventually someone would help me out. Do you know where Mollie is buried. Bigger question: Do you know Christian's mother's maiden name? I am related to the Hausen/Braddick side of the family

I downloaded it off a site. A relative photographed the whole cemetery and gave permission to use it for non profit.
I just did the work to put them on findagrave.
THIS INDEX AND THE LINKED IMAGES ARE THE PROPERTY OF LEON MEYERS AND SHALL NOT BE REPRODUCED FOR PROFIT WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION. The images may be freely used for any non-profit reasons.
As you see Leon Meyers did the actual photography.

Hello Steve, concerning the photo for Isaac England. I get the best photos I can with a very good camera the first time I go. Even before reducing the size of the photo, it was almost totally illegible. The months are totally illegible, however, it appears he was born on the 18th, month & year, not sure. died on the 25th...same as above. That is a very old headstone & very faded. That was a close up photo. If I can do anything further with the photo I'll let you know.

Hello. I'm the administrator for Find A Grave Spring Grove Cemetery. I have ownership of all Moerleins that were input by "Autograver". I have someone who has requested that I turn this over to him but you are family and you do own the Famous Christian Moerlein.
Do you know a FRED FEDERLE? Family relations trump all other requests so I do need to understand this before I do anything.

Thank you for the suggestion, one tiny problem. I am not sure I know how to do that. There are no instructions on how to do that with the camera I checked the manual. Surprisingly I still like my old SLR camera it still takes great photos.
Also glad I could help with the photos.

Thank you Steve, the info is updated.

Joseph Maehrlen 05/29/1845-04/23/1905 and Margaretha (Baker) Maehrlen 09/11/1845-03/04/1935 are both buried at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Fremont Center, Lake, Illinois. I have not gotten to place their memorials yet or verified gravestone spelling. The disc that these are listed on failed yesterday while I was searching for you and shut down my computer.

Information was gotten from Rootsweb-Wagner Genealogy and I've seen more spelling variations than what you mentioned. (Merlein, Maehlen)

All they have in the office is books by year that has the name and location. They did tell me that they are currently putting this information in a computer, which may take awhile. I think when that is done, you should be able to pull up a name. If you don't know a year right now, they would be of no help. I will say that I always walk around the area of the request looking for more of a family name and did not find any in this case.
