I am 6th generation in Corbett and take pride in my area. I love to document cemeteries and add information on each person who lived in the area. If you have any information on someone buried in Corbett, Bridelveil, Pounder, or any listed on my page I would love to add it. Marriages, immigration, children, parents, travels, hobbies, jobs, reason for death or military stories are a few things I add. I will transfer sites to family if you provide your member#.
RE: Reed picture Back in Feb 2015, you had kindly transferred # 27775523 Ruth Ann Reed to me. Then you had asked if I would like the remaining Reed family transferred to me. I would be honored if that would happen.
John Painter's family From the message you left me, I understand that there are no markers for the 7 people buried there but a large tree. Is this correct? I want to contact the county historical society with a copy of the 1871 letter from 2 of John's daughters to their uncle in Pennsylvania. All of the information I have found about John says he is an "Englishman" or Hawaiian. Thank you for your help.
Painter family Thank you for the transfers of the Painter family. I have added Sam's sister's names and linked all of them; John to his family in Chillisquaque, PA. The family is thrilled to have found them at last. Many thanks for the work you do.
Samuel "Sam" Painter Thank you so much for adding the memorial to Sam Painter with all the information! His father's (John) brother family has been searching for what happened to John's family for several decades. They have a letter from Sam's two sisters sent they landed in Portland with their father in 1872 saying "Mother and Samuel and another sister would be sailing from Hawaii shortly." I offered to look for them and found your wonderful information. You have solved a very old mystery.
