Bio and Links
Bio Photo My direct ancestral line in America begins with the Robinsons of Cambridge, MA, with William Robinson (1640-93) and Elizabeth Cutter (1645-92) being one of the first 56 members of Cambridge Village, MA and also the lineal family of Captain Richard Olmsted (1612-87), an original proprietor of Hartford, CT.

ANCESTORS - A Poem

If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
Would you be proud of them or not,
Or don't you really know?

Some strange discoveries are made
In climbing family trees,
And some of them, you know, do not
Particularly please.

If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps,
You wouldn't care to know.

But here's another question, which
Requires a different view— If you could meet your ancestors,
Would they be proud of you?

Phylotte Green Pack photo
Hi Douglas, If you will notice that photo for Phylotte Green Pack was added by "Gus Pendleton". I went in to see if I could remove it, but couldn't find a way to do that. Maybe Gus will have to remove it. The only photo that I have for Phylotte is a much older one and I haven't added it because I haven't been able to verify that it is her. Thanks for your interest. Your cousin, Loma Mitchell Bennett.

RE: Isaac Robinson/A B Robinson
Josiah (William, William) is the weak link, but the children's marriages and ages at death match the following children, specifically s. Capt Samuel:

• Leicester, VRs: Robertson.

Josiah, of Uxbridg, and Anne Barton, int. Apr. 16, 1738.

• Uxbridge, Worcester, VRs: Robinson.

Roberson, Josiah (Robinson, int.) and Anna Barton, of Leicester, June 28, 1738.
Josiah, s. Josiah and Ann, b. Nov. 27, 1739.

• Leicester, Worcester, VRs: Robinson.

Samuel, s. Josiah and Annah, b. July 24, 1742.
William, s. Josiah and Annah, b. June 16, 1744.
Joshua, s. Josiah and Annah, b. June 2, 1747.

• Spencer VRs: Robinson.

Joshua, d. Josiah, bp. June 7, 1747. CR
Jeremiah, s. Josiah, bp. Aug. 6, 1749. CR
Sarah, d. Josiah, bp. Nov. 10, 1751. CR
Anna, d. Josiah, bp. June 3, 1754. CR

Douglas, I just made the corrections to Abel Case as you requested. Check his memorial out so I can be sure I followed your recommendations.

It's a pleasure to connect with distant cousins ;o).

Thank you so much for the photo of my relatives monument. I live in Battle Ground, WA and it is much to far away for me to come in person to see it.
