John Ferdon
Hello,

I uploaded two photos to the memorial of John Ferdon. One is an overall shot of the family plot and a second of John's marker.

I also uploaded photos to others in the plot: Cornelia Emma Ferdon, Mary Day Ferdon Bentley, Edwin J. Ferdon, Etta Ferdon, Edwin Ferdon, and Ogden Ferdon.

I also created memorials for three others who are buried with the family: Roger Ferdon Bentley, Mary Ann Taylor Day, and her husband, Rev. Benjamin Day.

My guess is that Mrs. Day and Emma Ferdon might be sisters. I found a death record for Mary Ann and uploaded it to her memorial, showing that she is the daughter of Moses Taylor. I could not find one for Emma, though, even though she died in 1906. It is possible that the death certificate is incorrectly transcribed to a different last name.

Hope this helps!

RE: Jesse Avery
Andrea,
If you send me your e-mail address, I will forward you an attachment of their picture.

In addition, if you send me your mailing address I will see what Walgreens or CVS will charge to make a nice xero copy. If under $10, I will send to you in the next month. We are re-painting our home so I am pretty busy right and behind in my email. But will send you the photo my e-mail ASAP.

My email is: prrysus@aol.com

P.S. I also have some NEW information on John Avery here in Rowan Co., NC and Lincoln Co., NC before he went to Morgan Co., IN.

I also believe I have found him in Brunswick Co., Virginia along with his father...which I think his name was also John Avery. I will gather my data and send along with the photo by email. I have find some "PRINGLES" surnames on the Eastern part of NC as well.

Obviously one is a cenotaph since there is a tombstone in both cemeteries. We took the one in Mansfield Piatt Co & the one in Fowler was taken by another contributor.

Thanks for the correction on Wesley Bartow
I was working from the Budke transcriptions of the early 1900s. I went to the Blauvelt site and added the correct parents. Interesting that George Budke transcribed from the stone son of Eliza. I then went to see if there were baptismal records verifying his birth and there are!

I added the links and the other children.
