|A. Wayne Webb||Hazel Macklin (1899-1914)|
Her full name was Hazel Marie Macklin and she was born on Mar. 17, 1899, dying on Aug. 19, 1914. Cause of death was murder. If I'm reading the marriage correctly, and I strongly believe I am, her mother was 2½ months pregnant when they were married. Hazel's mother's last name was McGowan, not Allespaugh.
All-in-all, the story of the death of Hazel is extremely interesting as today we would call it a sexual assault and murder.

No I'm not related either. I am President of the 4th OVC Descendants Assn and was trying to contact descendants.

Thank you so much for the edits.
I forgot to add that the baby girl Charles and Emma had in 1885 died three months later of enteritis and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, Iowa.
Can you add in a new sentence in the appropriate spot after where it says she was immediately baptized:
Esta Edna Manlove died three months later of enteritis and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, Iowa.
|Marsha Hosfeld||David Rhoades - Greenwood Cemetery|
I am looking for David Rhoades (1799-1874) who served in the War of 1812. He was the father of Levi, Edward and Martin Rhoades (among others).
I am wondering if this might be him. Not something I expect you to know, but since you indicated he was a veteran, I just thought I would ask.
Thanks, Marsha H.

you can always leave the names of living out and just add son/daughter/grandchild instead of a name if you like.
