I live in Tippecanoe County, Indiana and have family ties to Fountain, Warren, and Clinton counties, as well as Tippecanoe. Have been researching family trees on my husband's and my side of the family for about 4 years now. Between the two of us our family stretches from east to west and north to south. We make frequent trips to Birmingham and search the cemeteries for relatives there. I love visiting cemeteries anywhere I go & taking pictures of headstones to put on findagrave.

If anyone finds an error in anything I have added, please let me know & I will correct it. If I have added a relative of yours & you would like a transfer, please let me know. I do reserve the right to transfer only within Findagrave guidelines. Recently I have been getting multiple requests at one time for great grand aunts & uncles and first cousins 3x & 4x removed. I don't mind transferring anyone, but there is a limit. I am more than willing to make any corrections, additions, family links. Most will be done within a day or two of being received. If you send a change and I haven't done it within two weeks, please send it again. I may have missed it going to SPAM.

The main families I am currently researching include Bearden, Kerr, Ghere/Gher, Redman, Martin, Loveless, Trackwell, Whittaker/Whitaker, Fenters/Fentress, Livengood, Walker, Rush, Leeper, Oland, Starkey and many others.

If you have any corrections, additions, changes, or transfer requests, PLEASE use the edit tab on the memorial page.

If I don't get to your request done right away, please be patient. I am in California and have been for 10 days now tending to a cousin who is on life support. Don't know how much longer I will be here. There are so many things to handle. If she makes it, she will never be able to return to her home or her assisted living place. So many decisions and legal things to handle, as well as, being with her as much as possible at the hospital. She is now a quadrapalegic and on a breathing machine, but is fully alert mentally. She has no means of communication other than shaking or nodding her head to questions.

All prayers for her strength and fortitude would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your patience.

I just returned from 5 weeks in California with my cousin and a week in Florida for my mother's 85th birthday. My cousin is being weaned from the breathing machine and is off it for up to 10 hours a day now, which two doctors said would never happen. She is in a skilled nursing center and trying to learn how to speak again. They are also working with her to learn how to swallow and hopefully be able to actually eat instead of having the feeding tube in her stomach. She has a very long and difficult road ahead of her but she is alive after two heart attacks and being revived twice. I thank everyone who offered prayers for her recovery. Since I will need to be making several trips back and forth between home & California, I will be transferring many of my memorials as people request corrections. Thanks for your understanding and patience. 3/4/2013

Update on my cousin - I've only been back home two weeks and she has now come down with pneumonia and a urinary tract infection again. She was back in the hospital in ICU and has gone back to her skilled nursing care facility. All attempts to wean her from the breathing machine are now on hold until she is over the pneumonia. Two steps forward and one step backward. 3/16/2013

Still not able to be weaned off breathing machine. On it 24/7. Still having trouble breathing with machine & having to have lungs suctioned out. White blood cell count up & down like a yo-yo. Ran all the tests and doctors have no clue where infection is coming from. She's on antibiotics almost continuously. What's going to happen to her when she really needs antibiotics and they are no longer effective? They just increased her pain meds from as needed to 'round the clock. Guess we're still playing the waiting game. Just a matter of time when she has another heart attack or gets a really bad infection that doesn't respond to treatment. It's so hard to have to sit back & just wait for someone to die when there is no hope for recovery! 5/9/2013

RE: Mary Fenters - Mound
Technology may have gotten the better of me, but I did not post a picture for Mary Fenters, just Susanna. Not sure why the system told you I did, but you need to request Mary again, I don't have a picture of her stone. Sorry....

RE: Hiram L Maddox
Thank you for the offer of transferrring ownership of the memorial, but that's ok. Hiram is the 2nd husband of a woman who married into my line, so he really isn't a relative.

Thanks for the all work you did on his memorial. It looks great!

RE: Peter Struss/Strusz
Johann is listed as a "probable burial" which usually means there is no visible marker. I didn't see one for him.

Harriet LYONS Wilburn
Hi once again for the last time,

You did transfer the WILBURN family including Harriet to that other Dianne so it is no problem at all. I will just send her my additional information and see if she will connect her to her parents.

Sorry for all the notes to you. I feel awful about writing so much and bothering you who have been so helpful to me.

Sincerely,
Dianne #46841637

RE: Photo editing software
The photo editing software that I use is called Photoscape. I downloaded version 3.2 a long time ago as a free trial. You can download v 3.6 at cnet.com. I'm able to square up a photo in 1/10 degree increments, increase contrast, increase sharpness, crop and know my file size before I save the file. I typically do all of that to each Find a Grave photo in less than a minute.

RE: McDills - College Corner
I updated Mary Gephart in College Corner Cemetery. Thanks for the information.

I do the same as you as far as corrections by saving the email and then deleting when the correction/addition is made. After several attempts I either give up or contact Find A Grave. That why it is so nice to have someone like you who is so willing to update and with such promptness. Keep it up!
