Bless you for those two memorials. I hope you have a great week ahead!
|Marcia ||George Franklin Penland|
I am looking for information or a photo of the gravestone for George Franklin Penland, born about 1828 in Buncombe County, NC and lived in the Reems Creek/Weaverville area. We believe he is buried in the Maney Branch Cemetery. My mother-in-law who was born in the area is believed to be a descendant, and we are trying to round out the family tree of information. Thank you! Marcia

I sent you some updates, through your EDITS, you can find it on this profile page, ^ look above where it says Contributions to Find A Grave. There will be a number in the Edits box, click, then click accept, click at bottom, this way you do not have to retype anything, is done automatic.
Thank you appreciate your help.
Have a Merry Christmas, Pray you have a blessed New Year.

Julia, Thank you very much. I am trying to link my family graves back to early 1800's. If I can ever help you let me know. Wayne.

Her maiden name is Line not Lines. Would the local library have an obituary for her. I would like to find out if her mother was Jonathan Line's first or second wife. If her mother was Jonathan's second wife (Bell Line) she is my ancestor.
