Greetings,

My Name is Ray Melton, Grandson of Cyril and Julia. Helen and Charles were my aunt and uncle that I wish I would have known.

Yes, the old stone was a couple feet or so away from the newer stone.

I made a note on the page that I created that leads others to your page as well.

James M. Hardisty/Hardesty
Hello! Today I photographed James' grave in Walnut Grove cemetery, Bloomfield, IN. Not finding a Memorial page for him, I added one. In researching, I later found the page you have for him.

I found a stone for him today that was nearly obscured by grass. I added a photo to your page. This old stone is flat and lists his last name as Hardesty.

This is the obituary info I found for him: http://boards.ancestry.com/localities.northam.usa.states.indiana.counties.greene/5078/mb.ashx

Interesting!

Thank you for your suggestion; however, I am family and have waited for grieving to pass before I added her bio. It is now there. Dottie

Margaret,
I added your Aunt Fern Martindale Holtsclaw to my tree. Can you tell me through what line you connect with her. She turned out to be my 4th cousin, 1x removed.

Thanks, Marsha

RE: Martha Collins Hardesty
This line of Collins has a special place in my heart. Elisha "Lish" & Hannah (Uptegrove) Collins took in my g-g-g grandpa, Tommy Collins when he was orphaned as a toddler in the 1830's. This "Lish" Collins was the grandfather of Elisha Collins, son of Jesse Collins.

Thanks for the response Margaret. My email is helen @ haldemangenealogy. I type the address this way so I won't get spam. You were correct I made a typo.

It is so nice to find a cousin!

I spoke to Susan and she said she was going to try to give you a call. She has been pretty busy lately.
