RE: Ann Chidley Willmore
Ann Chidley Willmore is in my line.

Ann Chidley was the daughter of Thomas Chidley and Anne Stone Chidley. She married Alfred Augustus Willmore in St. Mathias Church of Bethnal Green in Middlesex, England 5 August 1860.

Alfred and Ann had their first son - Alfred E. Willmore, who is my great grandfather. Alfred E. was born in Waltham Cross, England 29 August 1861 and moved to Hamilton, Ontario when he was in his early to mid-teens. Alfred married Mary Cowan Campbell in Hamilton. They had two daughters - Florence Ruth Willmore Strayer (my grandmother) and Mabel Grace Willmore (never married). Alfred and Mary moved to Williamsport, PA and then finally to Endicott, NY, which was where Alfred died. Both Alfred E and Mary are buried in the Riverhurst Cemetery in Endicott.

From what I can tell, Ann Chidley Willmore was born 16 May 1840 in Aston Warwickshire, England and died 15 July 1894 in Northampton, Massachusetts. I have no idea why she was in Northampton. From what I have learned, she is buried in Hamilton Cemetery, which is why I am looking for confirmation of the burial location.

I hope this gives you some more information about my line. Please let me know if you want any further information.

Jan

RE: Ann Chidley Willmore
Darlene,

Thomas Chidley and Anne Stone Chidley had a daughter, Ann. Daughter Ann was born May 16, 1849 in Aston, Warwickshire, England.

Ann married Alfred Augustus Willmore on August 5, 1860 in St. Mathias Church of Bethnal Green in Middlesex, England. Their oldest child, Alfred E. Willmore is my great grandfather.

I had very limited information on Anne Stone. I had her father listed as Benjamin Stone and her mother listed as Mary (no maiden name).

Does this sound like Anne Childley Willmore is any part of your Childley ancestors?

Ann Chidley Willmore
Darlene,
Your notes on the graves for the Chidleys has been very helpful.

My great-grandfather was Alfred E. Willmore - son of Alfred and Ann (Chidley) Willmore.

I had little information about Ann Chidley's family until I found the notes you left in the Find-A-Grave records for her grave and those of her children.

To let you know the rest of the descendents: Alfred and Ann's son Alfred married Mary Cowan Campbell in Hamilton, Ontario. Their daughter Florence Ruth Willmore married George Eugene Strayer. Their daughter Betty Mabel Strayer Burke was my mother.

Thank you very much for the information!

Sanford Huston, Jr.
Hello, I am the person who took pictures and posted them for Paul Huston and family. I am having trouble with Sanford Huston, Jr. Every time I click his name I get an error message, saying he can't be found. It says the link may be bad. I have a picture and if the link gets fixed, I can post it. Until then, sorry I can't get it up on the site.
