If there was ever a gravemarker for Ethel, it would be easier for you to find out since you are a relative. They tend to assist family members much better than volunteers who are not related. The space I saw that didn't have any gravemarkers, in the Lot number I was given, was a large enough area for at least 4 markers. I checked the rows above and below to make sure I was in the correct area and matched it with the map they gave me. I'm sure I was in the right place.

Hi,
I took pics of the Walker grave for your request today. Someone had been there and left a half dozen roses laying across the stone a few days previous. The roses left a stain on one side of the stone. I moved the wilted, frozen roses out of the way so you could see the names and dates on the stone.

No. I don't think that at all. In fact, when I went to Riverview today they sent me down to the carnation room to look for him. When I returned stating that he wasn't there... they did further research and apologized stating that they handled the cremation, and his ashes were given to the Mrs. They should me the original cemetery paperwork, where she signed for them.
So, please... in no way to I feel like I went on a goose chase. It was a fun adventure!
Yes! Quite the coincidence about the Sheehan name.
Our lineage is John Sheehan from Ireland. He had a Son William, who had a son Robert( but we think he may have had several illegits...) Robert had 8 kids under his belt with several differen Moms.
so... it's a different Sheehan... But in the end we are all related anyways... right?!!

I noticed you put Sheehan on your note to me. Is that your maiden name?
My husband flags from the Sheehan family. His Mother is a Sheehan. Related to Robert Raymond Sheehan and William Raymond Sheehan.
Any relation?

I did check the back of the stone. I will double check with the office the next time I go back to verify location. I am always disappointed when there is no stone.
