Hello, all--I have been working on my genealogy off and on for about 20 years. Found Find-a-Grave a couple years ago and have just recently become more involved as a photo volunteer. I find the whole genealogy experience to be like a great big puzzle...and I do love puzzles. I'm a computer programmer by trade and I'm still working fulltime. I'm married with 4 children (2 still at home) and we live in a small town in Indiana. Besides genealogy, I enjoy antiquing and am always searching for items to add to my collections. I'm an avid reader of mystery books and like to spend time relaxing on the deck with my husband. Good luck on all your endeavors and God's blessings to all.|

I'm writing to ask permission to use the photograph you took of my 3rd great-uncle's tombstone, Peter Reinoehl (Find A Grave Memorial# 37524361) buried in De Kalb County, Indiana. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you, Alma

Denise, Photographed your David Tate request. Found his military stone, and his tall pointed stone next to it. Photographed & submitted all of these to Findagrave site for him in Mount View cemetery in McBain Michigan. Added burial site for Philena Tate, which says Mother on the top of it, but by the dates, must be his wife. Thank you. Terry
Hi, sorry I took so long. Transferred your grandfather's brother's memorial to you.

Denise - Thank you, again. I am in your debt. I will try to track down Charles's son, who I think is still alive. Online, I see that the source listed for information about the cemetery is a monument company in Avilla. Is that who you communicated with? (I will be happy to begin communicating with the people in charge. You have already done a lot more than fill my photo request!) Martha Strouse was my maternal great grandmother I did not know about until a few months ago. (Strouse was her third married name. I connect to her through her first marriage.) I found Charles's obituary online through the Allen County Library, but I have not found Martha's obituary. Do you have any ideas about where I may be able to find one, if it exists?

Denise - Your latest message was almost lost in my mail box! Thank you for checking and confirming that he is in fact buried next to his wife, and that the blank stone was intended to hold a veterans marker. He is a half-uncle to me, and I only recently discovered him, as part of a maternal ancestry I never knew about until last June. I live almost 1,000 miles away from Garrett. I found his obituary online in the Garret Clipper. It reported that arrangements were by McKee-Miles Funeral Home. Was that in Garrett? Thank you, again. You are a genealogical angel! - Bourbon

That is an interesting and unusual development, concerning the blank marker where Dick Strouse ought to be buried next to his wife. Some unusual things do turn up in this game, don't they? I certainly do appreciate the effort you are making on this request! - Bourbon

Denise, you are AWESOME! I have updated Elizabeth's memorial and linked her to Peter and their children. Thanks again for your help.
|Dennis Naiberg||RE: Monn's in DeKalb County, IN|
Thanks again for your help with the Monn memorials. I created a memorial for Peter's wife, Elizabeth Ann (Van Horn) Monn, and linked her to Peter, George and Jennie. I found her living in Garrett during the 1920 Census, so she died sometime after that year. Still looking for her final resting place. Take care and God bless.

Just wanted to thank you very much for the headstone photos of my 3rd great grandfather Peter and 2nd wife Elizabeth. I also wanted to ask if it would be alright to use these pics for my family tree.
