|Kent Simms||Hello Diane|
Recently I noticed Virtual Flowers and that you had added to William and Mary Simms, George and Catherine Simms of Trepassey, Newfoundland, and their daughter Eliza Charlotte Simms who was married to The Reverend George Henry Hooper and his son William Simms Hooper. Looks as if we are definitely related.
I need a favor, please. Could you send me the names of your husband's Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Father so that I could add them to my family tree which is on ancestry.com.
What a surprise to find a "living member" of the Simms Family.

That's too funny...we went to Charleston, SC last summer & went to 3 cemeteries & the kids loved it!!! We literally spent almost 3 hours at one of them. We even walked in one when we drove to Savannah for the day. My mom took them to a couple when they were younger so they find them fascinating!!

He was a wonderful man!! I didn't see him too often as my family lived in Texas. He was married to my grandpa's sister. Both he & my grandpa share the same birthday, which is today (as well as my sister too!)...They were best friends, not just in-laws!! :-)

Thank you! I love this too! Still learning the ropes. My mom got my kids & I onto Findagrave. She passed away almost 3 years ago, so I'm trying to maintain her page & the page she set up for my kiddos. :-)

They are my great grandparents. I am the grandchild of Rudolph. I am new to this - is there anything you can tell me about them.
I loved the picture.

I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Phyllis Christenson in Lakeside Cemetery (Memorial# 87328953).
I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Michigan Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included--her second husband was an Alvord. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/MIOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Diane [or your full name if you prefer]
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

I don't know any more about the memorial other than what is on it.
So sorry I couldn't be of any help!!
High Plains :)
I do wish that I weren't related to Samantha, because I know how exciting it is to find someone dear to you on Find A Grave. Unfortunately, Benton & Samantha were my great-uncle and -aunt, and I'd like to keep their memorials for now. It never hurts to ask, though. Have a nice time hunting for other family members. Janis

Hi Diane, I think we were in touch once a long time ago. I am a descendant of Wade Sanders Knight, who was a younger brother of Ira McMillan Knight. I'd like to connect with you again and swap some more information. Thanks.
