I have been researching my various family lines since 2002. In the states of Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama, I am interested in the Inman, Walker, Patterson, Ritchie, Lyle and Ferguson families.|
In the state of Missouri, I am interested in the Thurmond, Reed, Rowland, Inman, Ferguson and Woodruff families.

Hello, I believe we maybe distant cousins. I saw a message you left on several blood relatives of mine. The last message I saw you left was for your great grandmother. She is a GREAT (more than once) Aunt of mine. She is a sister of a GREAT grandfather of mine. I'm related to the Redford's, McManness's, Fann's and others. I saw that you mentioned in your profile that you have been looking for family.....I noticed none of the last names I've mentioned aren't on your list, but if you are interested in distant family as well....I believe my mother and I are! James Arthur Emory Fann is my maternal great great grandfather. His daughter Gladys Beryl Fann Redford is the mother of my maternal grandfather, my mom's dad. :)

|Fran Q||Walker Family|
Hi - Samuel Walker is also my 6 times great grandfather. My line goes as follows: Samuel >Barbara Walker McClellan (?/NC/TN/AR) > John McClellan (NC/TN/AR)> William Blount McClellan (TN/AL) > Amanda McC Montgomery (AL)> W.B. Montgomery (AL) > Louise Montgomery S. (AL) > Shirley S. P. (AL) > me (AL).
I'm thrilled to find a cousin and a patriot! Barbara's husband, William (no middle initial) McClellan was also a patriot, but I have reason to think his service was not in Virginia, as the DAR records indicate. If you have any information about Samuel's children, I would love to know it!

|Vernetta Nelson||Forrest Woodruff|
I guess you moved Forrest's memorial to Mt. Hermon so I transferred the picture to it & deleted the record I had made.
|Vernetta Nelson||Forrest Woodruff|
There is no Mt. Herman Cemetery in Dent County, Missouri; the correct spelling is Mt. Hermon. I set up a memorial & picture for Forrest in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. I will transfer ownership to you if you want it.
|Shar||Flowers for relatives|
Hello Sharon, If I go to a cemetery and take a photo of someone's gravesite and post that pic on F.A.G.then out of respect I will leave flowers, it seems like the natural thing to do. I never want to offend anyone. I have never heard from anyone that asked me to remove a photo or flowers but if I would, I will immediately remove whatever I have added. I do not recall knowing any of your loved ones that you mentioned and I was at Chapel Hill several times for photo request and I always take whatever other photos that time or weather will allow and then I check to see if they are posted, if not, I add the pictures along with flowers. I hope that seeing the photos did not upset you or anyone in your family, if so I will remove them. I think this is a great website and I do it to help whoever comes later but I sure do not want to hurt anyone. If you are not in the area and I can help you locate any friend or relative, give me a holler. By the way, I love your name. Have a great day.

|Michael Edwards||William Benjamin Woodruff|
Sharon, Look forward to any photo you can obtain for William B. Woodruff.
Thanks for the info on the Woodruff family line as I was unaware of the actual lineage. My data shows that William was the son of William Henry and Julia Ann Mariah Enloe. I show he was born June 4, 1873 in Crawford Co., MO and died Sept 5, 1956 in Bourbon, Crawford Co., MO. Please confirm that we are talking about the same individual.
My wife's family connection comes thru his sister, Rose Ella Catherine Ferguson Woodruff m. to Thomas Jefferson Chapman of Seminole, OK.
Please email me privately at email@example.com and I can give you the specifics.
Look forward to hearing from you.
