Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began researching my Carper family in Frederick County many years ago, and have more recently gathered information on Bentzels, Elliotts, Scriveners, Wrights and Popes. Genealogy is a fascinating hobby for me and I think FindAGrave is a great tool.

RE: Mansfield
Sorry I can't help you, but I appreciate your reply. I really didn't think we'd catch up.

I was recently searching mdgenweb, and when checking the surname listings, I found you were searching the surname Mansfield. My maiden name is Mansfield. My father's ancestors are from Alexandria, VA and northern North Carolina before that. Please contact me if this sounds like the people you are looking for.

RE: Active
Hello Lois,

I have some Carpers in my family.

Charles Luther Carper and his son Charles William Carper.

Charles Luther Carper first wife is Margaret Ann Wolf, my great aunt Find A Grave Memorial# 93626091.

I am curious, do you know anything about Charles Luther or Charles William, or have any pics of them?

Your email doesn't seem to work. Leave the Bentzels where they are and I will try to get up there if the weather every drys up. I need to go to the cemetery myself to take some photos and I will try to find their graves and take photos and let you know exactly where they are buried.
