 | Acacia Park Cemetery Photo Request
Hello - I work near the Acacia Park Cemetery, where you have a photo request, and can easily stop by anytime. However the cemetery office has a policy to only allow me two location lookups per visit, so I am making graves with plot information my priority. Teri - I still haven't found Helen Klueter at Valley View - she must have a marker flush with the grass. I will try and get back there and see if anyone will answer at the office. The grounds are not all that well kept and I've seen "reviews" online that the office is not opened all that often. I'll keep trying!
Anyway, I added MANY more Klueters to the Valley View Cemetery and I believe I gave you management right away as well.

I received your request for a photo of Kate Gibbs grave today by findagrave. I am an active member of findagrave and I am also a secretary of the board of Sugg Cemetery in Pocahontas,IL. In 1987, our board chairman and I published a book about The Story of Early Pocahontas and Sugg Cemetery. No one, to my recollection was buried in Sugg Cemetery, at that time, for 34 years. We had helped to reorganize the board of trustees and clean the cemetery up and we wrote the book to keep the cemetery from falling back into hard times. We have a record, and stones in the cemetery of 12 members of the Gibbs family by name and one Gibbs? followed by the notation unidentified funeral home marker in Gibbs plot. For this reason, I cannot take your photo of her and send it to you. I can take a photo of the Gibbs plot and email that to you if you desire.
