rowland marker
The Rowland marker for Estella and William is so hard to read. It might be better in different light or with a more sensitive camera. I had only one camera with me the day I stopped at Lock Cemetery. It is not that it is so warn, it is that the background and raised lettering has become the same hue.

RE: David Morrison
My honor and pleasure, Robert. I covered that cemetery north-to-south and east-to-west and was all set to think I'd failed when suddenly I looked down and there was Mr. Morrison's grave. As it is under some dense fir trees, it is well preserved and will be for decades.

Eliza Fleming- John Thomas family
Robert-
For whatever reason I seem to be having trouble getting in touch with you. Initally I was looking for some confirmation that my wife's g-g-g-grandmother, Emma Jane Thomas, was the daughter of the Eliza Fleming (and John Thomas) you have in your files. At this point I am convinced of the connection and would be happy to exchange information with you.

RE: Allen Clark Jones
Robert, I got lucky this morning. The older section in this Cemetery is in terrible condition. Many stones are broken, missing or illegible. As you probably noticed Allen's Stone is broken and on the ground. If not fixed it will probably end up in a pile like many other stones here. Glad I was able to find it for you and I do know the feeling of finding a long lost relative.

So you are a descendent of one of my great aunts? I so love finding family!!! Which is why I always aske. And you are doing DAR. My sister is working on that as well. Via the Lewis-Parker side. I am just finding we have the same on the Craven/Musser side as well. I had guessed the Musser's to be Hessian soldiers. Somewhere in my research I found a statement that one of our family was proven to be a Roger's Ranger (or who ever the famous group was. ) My family tree is on Ancestry. The Craven/Musser's are at the bottom of the tree.
