Agnes Burnett
Hi there
Thank you for the edits. Agnes Burnett has a stone photo on Billion graves. They have transcribed birth as 1887 which is not possible, however to me the year appears to be 1867 as recorded, so will leave the birth year as is.
Do you have an obit for her or other records?
Thanks again for your edits. I did add the full date at death as you suggested.

RE: Ceylon Cemetery
You are so very welcome. I believe that you are researching the Aldred family, and that was an extremely hard headstone to do. Will be in touch if I have any more problems. Just happened to be passing by on my way home to Alberta after visitng family in Montana!

RE: Transcribing
I read it as John Janchyshyn.

Ibah is Ukrainian for John and most men used John when they anglicized their name. However, I have seen the transliteration Ivan used as well on some headstones.

In terms of the last name, the variant showing on the memorial page could very well be correct. Other variants would be Yanczyszyn or Yanchyshyn.

Hope this helps.

I'm up to 75 to 80,. Give me a couple days and I will send along a list. I love hunting this stuff down. Photographing them all would be my next project.
