|SallyG||Sylvenus Bilby, #29267318|
You have linked Sylvenus Bilby to parents Stephen Bilby (memborial #49918940) and Jane Ludlow Bilby (# 49918934). They are NOT his parents and the link to them should be removed as many researchers are falsely using the information in their family trees. As to Sylvenus parents, his father may well have been named Stephen Bilby, but not this Stephen C Bilby. From what accounts I have seen about Sylvanus his parents died when he was 9 or 11 (1839-1841)and he was bonded out. Stephen Bilby (#49918940) did not died until 1873.
Another fact is that according to the 1900 and 1910 census his father's birthplace was unknown to him.

Hi tib, I am David Budd a photo volunteer for Find-A-Grave. I went to Calvary Cemetery office to look for this grave. They have nor record of her in this cemetery. Must be in another cemetery. Any questions, let me know.

I believe your husband was looking for Bilby ancestory info. I have added the link to Sylvenus's memorial to his mother and father. Find A Grave memorial numbers 49918934 and 49918940. Stephen was the son of John who was "pushed" in to service to fight for the Brits uring the Revolutionary War. Of coutrse, after the war, he stayed here. Maybe you know this? This is all well documented published data sent to me by my cousin, Lola Bilby Baker.
Please accept my links and edits. I have the Wolfords linked back to Martin Wolford who was in the Revolutionary War.

My grandfather was Thomas A. Bilby, son of Erasmus Bilby. Andrew and Erasmus were brothers. Erasmus was my great grandfather. How does your husband fit? firstname.lastname@example.org is my email

I would be willing to take a photo at Crown Hill Cemetery per your request but you must supply me with the Section and Lot number. This is a very big cemetery.

How do you fit in this family?
|Laura||Cedar Hill Cemetery|
Hi! I noticed you have outstanding photo requests for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I am preparing for a trip there Sept 8th and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many of these as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to a lady at the cemetery named Carmelita Walker. She said she can't give the locations of these sites to me since they are not related to me but she said if you could give her a call at 301-568-5400 and tell her that you are a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there is no charge for her to look up this information. Once we have this information it will be sooo much easier to find the grave and photograph it. If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!
