Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE do not send edits that are incomplete, for example, birthplace/death place is USA or just the state, also if you don't know the exact date for birth or death don't send just the month. I take the time to verify your info just to find you took it from a census or the SSDI. If you look at more than one census it often will have different months. I look up obituaries and often find the person did not die where the SSDI says they did. People often die at a hospital, nursing home or out of state.

I don't mind transferring memorials outside of Find A Grave guidelines but I do mind when people demand transfers or are rude. PLEASE provide your connection, not just"they are a relative" With Ancestry.com having a link to Find a Grave I have had way too many requests like this. I prefer not to transfer outside of guidelines if you have not been a member of Find a Grave very long or don't ""pay it forward " on here, by this I mean adding names other than your relatives or only names from the newspaper and rarely or never adding photos. If I am related I will not transfer. PLEASE include your #. Adding memorials and pictures I have taken takes time as does making edits. No one is perfect!!!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PICTURES I HAVE POSTED AND ADD TO OTHER WEBSITES INCLUDING ANCESTRY.COM You can add the link without copying the picture.

We enjoy taking pictures, walking cemeteries and helping family find family they have been searching for. I am very appreciative that someone took the time to put an aunt and two uncles who died as babies onto Find A Grave. I would have never known where they were buried.

No, I will take good care of them, until someone closer related comes along.

RE: Tracy's
No, just found an obit and thought I would add some additional information for others that might be. I have a cousin that is related to some of them.

Simpson Sisters
I believe there is some kind of mix up with the 2 daughters in the family of Thomas Jefferson Simpson (Find A Grave Memorial# 93206522) and Nancy Burnette Duncan Simpson(93206520). The information on the findagrave website (93206492) has the name of Pearl Simpson, but the birth and death dates are those of her sister Leatha Marie Simpson. Perhaps the tombstone is incorrect, but I thought you would be interested in the documentation. I have been unable to locate a burial record for Letha.
Thanks, Sue Lambert

RE: Zelma Sarginson 104500401
Mrs. Sarginson was born near Morrisonville, daughter of Emery and Alice Jarrett. She was a sales person at the local variety store, Morrisonville, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Morrisonville.
Surviving are her daughter, Melba Brandenburg of Ontario, Calif.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces who cared for her.

Hi..This is the one I sent through edits. Find A Grave has many mysteries, doesn't it?
I f you could copy and paste this added info, that would be wonderful.
Thanks so much.

Greetings to Rives:

I am working on my wife's ancestory, which has an Alcinda Van Meter (d: 1834) who married Jacob Rhoads (1763 - 1832) in 1786 in Nelson County, KY.

Are you related to either the Rhoads or the Van Meters?

I have some information on Jacob Rhoads and his wife Alcinda Van Meter, would you be interested in receiving this information to update some of the Rhoads websites on Findagrave?

Do you information on the Rhoads family that is not posted on Find A Grave?

Yours in Genealogy,

Steve Burke

George C Briggs
Good Morning,
I wanted to chat with you about my Great Grandfather George C Briggs #97826991. I found out this morning that he is not actually buried in Carlinville with my Great Grandmother Bertie. She passed in 1962 and George moved to Houston some time after. He passed away there in 1979 and is buried in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. I found this information on his death certificate. I also spoke to my father and Aunt and they both confirmed that they attended his burial in Houston. They both said he would have made sure that his headstone with Great-Grandmother was also inscribed with his date of death. How would you prefer to mark the memorial? I have added his correct burial in Houston but feel that the Carlenville headstone should still be honored. Thoughts?
Blessings,
Cheerful
