Thank you very much for your attempt to find his grave. I know there are many times that they are either unmarked or names were not added to headstones that were already in place. Again thank you.

Wesley Settle 84843783
Hello Bruce, Wesley served in the Civil War in the 134th NY Volunteer Infantry. I had a Schoharie County ancestor, James Guffin, who served in the 134th. I've created a Virtual Cemetery for the unit, 487 names and counting.

I submitted an edit request to add his complete date and place of death. The source was his military pension records.

Interesting that his headstone lists his birth year as being 1844. Four different census years suggest he was born in 1846 or 1847, if accurate that would mean he enlisted in the 134th at 15 or 16 years of age.

Thanks for having creating his memorial. Paul Turner

Hi Bruce.
Once again I must thank you for taking the photos of our Warner and Richtmyer ancestors at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery. And thank you also for creating Maria Burhans Richtmyer's memorial. I suspected she was buried there, but could not find corroboration until you took the photographs. I added some additional information to the memorial. I wish you had ancestors in Wisconsin so I could do something for you. Please know you have my gratitude.

Hi Bruce. Thank you, again, for photographing the gravesites of our ancestors, Jenette Hilts Latham and George Zimmer Latham. I appreciate your efforts so much! I wish I could do something for you personally, but I do promise to pay your kindness forward here in Green Bay. I know your time is precious, and I appreciate you spending some of yours to fulfill my request. Thanks again. linda tutt
