Bio and Links
Bio Photo Since moving stateside I've been able to add travel to my list of genealogical activities. Simply by placing cemeteries at the center of our itenerary, my husband & I not only get to experience a new geographical area, but also a new sense of American history & culture. We love it! It doesn't matter if the grave is already in findagrave's database (my thanks!)- we still make a personal visit during our explorations. For the most part my graves are family, so if you see a familiar looking name where I've left flowers, it means you and I are somehow related.

RE: Ray Allen Payne
Oh, my goodness. I am so excited that we are connected in some way. Would we be far distant cousins? I grew up in Joplin. My dad was born there. I believe I knew of other relatives in the Springfield area, but will have to check this out. His brother Glen is buried next to my dad, maybe one or two over.

I am new at this, however I saw a note at the bottom of Ray Payne's grave site that said "my mother's first cousin." Did you mean that for Ray Allen Payne? He is/was my father. I am interested in who your mother was. Thanks, Shila Rae Payne Spice

RE: relation
yes, I haven't had much time lately to work on any family tree and I'm not very far along on the Tindell's. Thank you very much for replying and hello cousin (I guess that would be right). Kathy

Who was your gggrandmother? You left a message that stated Robert Gray Tindell was your gggrandmothers 1st cousin. Just curious! Kathy

Please advise how we are related. You left a note on my brother's memorial which said he was your Grandpa Albert's second cousin. Thank you.

Requesting a replacement gravestone will likely take a while.
If you learn anything new please give me a shout.
