Hi Peggy,

My sister is named Peggy also.

So, was your grandfather a Boughton?

Ruth Seymour Smith
Hi Peggy,

Re-The approximate birthdate for Matthew Seymour who died 4/30/1768 at age 76, would be 1692/93. Ruth Seymour Smith was b. 1707--would

You could be correct; But, "Matthew Seymour (-1768)*" has an asterisk. This means the link to Ruth was added by the person that manages the "Children: Ruth Seymour Smith (1707-1776)* memorial. I did not add it, nor can I remove it. If you click on her (Ruth) this will bring you to her memorial page. From her page you can see NO asterisk after "Parrents: Matthew Seymour(__ - 1768)". So, you know this link was added by the person that manages this memorial. He would be the person to ask your question.

Hope this helps

RE: 64994536 & 64994537
Thanks for the catch on Elisha's death year. I do believe I meant to hit 6 twice for 1766, but I've been known to hit the wrong key on occasion. As for his birth date Feb 2, 1767, I always like to recheck my information before I add a specific date. I do appreciate the catch.

Thank you, Sarah, daughter of Butterfly~Kisses.

Mom has been unavailable for several months. She was providing hospice care with my Aunt, for my Uncle, who died December 18th. She stayed on to help my Aunt make some adjustments. I'm here often anyway because I enjoy doing this as well.

RE: 121619553 Samuel Garoutte
No, they are two different cemeteries --Sam according to records is buried next to his wife in the family farm plot what is now Blades Cemetery--He is not buried in the other cemetery (present day Garoutte cemetery) that listing is incorrect.

RE: 15695788 Ralph E French
The death certificate for Neal Melton French does not give "Catherine" as the name of his mother. It only says "Cath---" with what appears to be three more letters which are unreadable.

Wife of Joseph William French
The death certificate for Joseph's son does not definitely give Joseph's wife's name as Catherine Lillian Johnson. Only "Cath" is clear---the remainder is questionable. On the other hand, Joseph's U. S. World War I Draft Registration clearly shows his wife's name as Cassie Lillian French. Of course, Cassie could be a nickname.

RE: 15695095 Joseph W French
I am not related to the French family; therefore, I have no information about Joseph W. French. A quick check of Ancestry.com indicates there must be more than one Joseph French and their historical records may have become jumbled. Good luck in soting them out.

Thank you so much for the additional information. Are you, by chance, related to Joseph W. French?

RE: 43186708 Jeremiah Garroutte
Peggy,

Thank You! That was my error. I added a link to his grandparents, so visitors can still follow the family line. Wish I could find out where Samuel Jr. is buried.

Jeremiah is my 4th great grandfather.

Thanks,

Rick
