|Retired in Durango, Colorado. Helping the museum here document area settlers.Since I did not know any of these people, I rely on secondary sources. If I have made any mistakes, please let me know and I will correct them. If I cannot confirm who the person is, but I believe I have enough evidence to hazard a guesss, I will begin with "My guess is that..." in the hopes this may help someone someday.|

|Sue Ann Harfst||RE: Edna Mae Bowen Gwartney Daniels|
I got the name from an email from another Findagrave member. I did not know which
Gwartney she married until you told me, though.
I think you might profit from contacting her. I tried to send you her email, but the email address you provide above does not work. I had to take mine off here, but if you post yours to my page, I will send you the email and delete your address from public view.
Thanks for the link.

Thanks so much for providing photos for my family in LaPlata Co. My grandparents, James Hardy Allan and Helen Bertha Scarlett Allan are buried there as well as my mother's brother, Lawrence Allan.
|Cath Smith||Ula C Bondurant|
Just wanted to let you know I have been in touch with a Ralls County, Missouri researcher and she had went to the Vandalia Cemetery they have no record of her burial in Vandalia Cemetery. Maybe she is buried elsewhere? Or she her records were lost? Hard telling at this point.
|Cath Smith||Ulla C Bondurant|
thank you!! I have a name and number to call for someone who searches Ralls County and I will call her and see if she can help us with this mystery of who Ulla's Parents may be. I appreciate all the help and the time you have taken to help with this child. As I said before I just wanna know where this child belongs, as I am sure you and many others would also like to know.
|Cath Smith||Ulla C Bondurant|
With a closer look at 1880 and 1900 census .... Another researcher and I have determined that the best bet of parents for Ulla C Bondurant would be Joseph R and Millie Bondurant. In 1880 he is enumerated twice as a Single farmer worker once on the same page as Albert and Martha. In 1881 he is married in Pike. Then in 1900 he and Millie are still in Jasper, Ralls, Missouri. Millie says she has had 6 children 5 living. There are five children in the household.
By 1884 James Albert and Martha Jane Bondurant were in Colorado ... why would they travel back to Missouri to bury this child? I am just curious.... they have a child buried in New Harmony Cemetery .. so if Ulla was their child ... wouldn't she have been buried in same cemetery as a sibling? Please let me know your thoughts on this.
