Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Beaufort, SC with my husband and 2 children. I have parakeets, cockatiels,
cats, and 2 dogs. The south is beautiful, but I really miss the North at times. My Pet & Garden web site is located at

Most of my family on my Dad and my Mothers side seem to be from all over Connecticut. Jennie Minder Patchen White is my Father's Mother. We have about 9 family members buried in the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River, CT. We also have a family member buried in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Chester, CT. I belonged to the Deep River and Chester Historical Society's for a while. There is an old Building in Chester CT that still bears the White name and is now the River Tavern.

I think it is a wonderful blessing to have a web site like this to bring people together to honor their heritage in such a special way. My daughter and I have been working on 3 family trees on for about a year and half now. We put out a bi-monthly newsletter off and on. We think every new piece of information about our family members is precious.

By mistake I put Middletown Ct. instead of Middlebury, Ct.
The early Manville families were from Woodbury & Middlebury, Ct.

Minder, Patchen & Manville
Hi Kris
Well, I will be darned, just read your posts, & am very surprised to hear from you - to say the least!
I have Josephine Minder Clark's family history, a combination of Josephne, Ella & Theodore Manville's work, and I have pictures of them all.
Last year I worked with the Middletown, Ct. Historical Society, they did not know much about the Manvilles and were very pleased with the information I sent. In return they sent me all the town records they had. They plan to do a biography on the Manvilles, as they were a very important family in Middletown, also George Manville who was a Civil War Soldier that died in the war.
Also have pictures of Jennie Patchen White, and her address is in my grandmother's address book.
Better mail me privately as we have much to talk about, and I surely want to mail you the records I have of the Manvilles.
Did not remember or know that Eastman Page was a Manville - saw him once with my dad at his place of work!
Sincerely, Barbara K.
