Hi Renee. I am trying to find the grave of Ida Mae Whitley. She was the daughter of James T. and Abigail Whitley. I have a photograph of Ida Mae and her husband Albert C. French and wanted to post it to their site. Thank you.

Hi Renee, did you receive my email I sent you?
I didn't get a reply. Other than what I wrote in the email I also wanted to let you know, I got steven Hood to delete the headstone and grave marker photos from the duplicate (ReneeR) memorial and post them your original. But I can not get her to delete it.
|DJ||RE: Jasper Johnson|
I have not done any research on my grandfather's family. One of my aunts did, but never forwarded me any info and that was some years ago.
All I now is what I heard from my Dad, who is now 93. His dad was Jasper Johnson, his mom Emma Kathleen Morrow Keltner. She died July 4 1920 when my dad was just 10 days old. His dad remarried and had children with his new wife (they were Jasper Jr. -or Johnny, now deceased-, Edward [deceased], Sterling, Doris, Esther, and Agnes). Don't know if any of the girls are deceased. I had heard one was and that another was very ill with cancer. My grandfather lived in Little Rock AR. I visited there once in 1972 - he had already passed away.
The family down there really doesn't keep in contact. My dad was raised by an aunt and uncle and grew up in Monroe, LA.
If any of this sounds like the same family to you, I would definitely be interested in hearing more.

I finally saw your post concerning Trussville Cemetery, I apologize for the delay. Trussville Cemetery if in downtown Trussville on 11 across from Wings and Trussville Family Practice. I do not currently have an Pannell's listed in my tree. Not to say, at some point, I won't have a connection. Good luck on your research.
I missed the Pannell Reunion. My laptop computer hasn't been working properly. However, thank you so much for the invite and I would have liked to have been there. It is exciting to find a relative on Find A Grave. I don't know that much about Viola either. I don't have my notes in front of me now. But I will tell you that Viola Pannell Laningham was my great greast grandmother. She was married to my great great grandfather Andrew Jackson Laningham both buried at Austin Creek in Blount County. (ss with Jack). My great grandfather was Luther Lafayette Laningham buried at Edgewood Baptist Church cemetery in Blount County. Viola passsed when my great grandfather was a young child. Jack remarried after her death but is laid to rest with her. I don't have any pics of that side of the family. My grandmother was Iris Laningham Pugh also buried at Edgewood. I did run into a year diffence on Viola's date of birth too. You may feel free to contact me anytime. firstname.lastname@example.org. Forgive me I'm new at researching but you have to start somewhere. BTW I see that Viola was also a Jett? There are many Jett's buried at Edgewood.
