Celdon Berry
Hi Amy,

Are you sure Celdon was the son of Benjamin & Sarah Berry? Benjamin & Drusilla R (Pumphrey) Berry were shop keepers in Old Augusta and are buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. They were married in 1831. And show a son born in 1832 in 1850 Census listed as Silas. Our ancestor Henry Clay Berry was the youngest brother born 1842-1922, son Daniel O. b 1840 and sister Eliza 1837-1858. Interested in any info you have.

Thanks for the information. I have made the correction. Do you know where his parents are buried or the Find A Grave #?

Thanks for the info, but the link has to come from the child to the parent. Contact Krys Oller (who owns the memorial).

RE: Bellmore
Eliza Bellmore is buried next to Maud & Harry Musselman. Maud was born in 1876, so I was wondering if this Maud was her daughter. It follows with census records, but other trees have Maud marrying someone else.

RE: Bellmore
I checked the newspapers that the Stromsburg library has as I was heading that way anyway and it was open this morn. There was a small notice in The Stromsburg Headlight, so will probably need to look at Shelby's library in their newspaper for an obit. Will send you what I found.

Nothing much more on the gravestone than what's on the memorial. Photo is added. Let me know if you need more help out here.

Sargent/Seargant in Osceola
I found 2 more Sargents in the Osceola Cemetery today: Daniel and Jacob Sargent. I think there is already a memorial and photo for Daniel. I have plot numbers too, so I can provide those. Just FYI.

Sergents in Osceola
The city clerk did not know where your Sergents are in the cemetery, so that means it pretty much requires searching the whole cemetery. Therefore I'm not sure I'll get to your requests until next spring. They are working on a directory for this cemetery, at least on their computer, so maybe next time I check they'll have it. I guess they have a large stack of death records to go through. Just thought you might want to know.

Sergent/Sargent/Sargeant in Osceola
I found one of your photo requests, and then I also found some additional Sargent/Sergent/Sargeant. Rachel Agnes Sargeant is buried next to Isaac Sargent. I took those photos and added her. Melba Sergent is probably the wife of Clarence; I added her too. I hope to talk to the city clerk for some help in finding the rest.
