I've been offline for awhile, I would like to thank you very much for the photo of my cousin's grave. Very much appreciated.

RE: Caroline Rasco West Owen
Your welcome and thanks for your offer! I cleaned up the gravestone some yesterday, but didn't have time to do a real good job yet. When I do I will post a new picture of Caroline's grave. Both she and her daughter are one of the oldest graves in Fairview. Almeda's would have been moved to the cemetery from their homestead, as she died before the cemetery was started in 1886.

RE: Something isn't right
The Thomas Howes that died in 1886 is the father of that girl Catherine that died in 1853. On Find A Grave, it has her as his wife! Confusing because Thomas Howes who died in 1886 had a wife named Catherine. He was from England and there were many Howes in that part of Minnesota and more that one named Thomas. I found the widow, Catherine in the 1900 US Census at age 77 so it is unlikely that she remarried. Their children left Minnesota for Washington state, and other places, so she may have traveled but unlikely at that age. Thomas' headstone had 4 sides, and it's possible that she is on one of them. One side has a son John who died at age 20.
thank you for your time,

Yes, Catherine E was the Wife of Thomas Howes, but she was an adult born about 1823. The note on your photo says she was 3 years old.

Chapman headstones
The headstones in question:
The burials of Frank and Della (daughter) Chapman are unmarked. They are buried in the green space next to these two stones. These two stones belong to Ebert (son) and Adaline (wife) of Frank Chapman.
