Bio and Links
Bio Photo It has now been over 2 yrs since I've lost my grandmother and it is slowly getting "easier". I find that I am not as anxious about "needing" to leave something on her FAG page EVERY DAY. A day doesn't pass when I don't think of her, but it isn't as consuming as it once was.

At the moment, I am trying to get a grip on some health issues (at 40, it starts to go downhill!). Celiac Disease and insulin resistance are two big ones. I suspect Fibro, as well, but that's another story. And to top it off, my husband lost his job after 15 yrs in January. UGH.

Will someone please wave a magic wand for me and make this all go away?? I am at a loss on how to get a grasp on it. :(

RE: Hannah
It doesn't show for me now either. The other person may have just deleted their memorial. So it looks like you don't have to make any changes.

Take care.

RE: Hannah
I went to the page for North Shore Cemetery and searched fr the last name. That's how I found both memorials. Both memorials had notes and flowers attached so I wonder if there is a way to merge the 2 pages so people's memorials to him are not lost.

RE: Kidney Stone
Hi, Nope. I wish i were kidding. They go inside and crush the stone and pull out the pieces then put the stint in. Its a long thin tube going from your kidney to inside your bladder with a string hanging out for the doctor to pull it out. Which i almost jumped off the table when he did. You dont feel it down there unless you accidentally tug on the string. Ouch! You mostly feel it in your side when you bend or move certain ways. That hurts your side. They put it in to keep inflammation down from doing the surgery. Yeah i googled it to find out what they were going to do last time. Yes insurance is crazy. Like the wanted to give me Flomax to help get the stone moving. Wouldn't cover it. I guess they rather pay more for surgery to fix it. Dont get me wrong, i im glad it covers that. But hopefully it works out. My family doctor wants me to get my umbilical hernia fixed next after this. One thing at a time though. lol.

RE: Kidney Stone
Hi, Thanks for the info. I had a different stone bout a year ago. They said 8mm. They said my insurance didnt cover blasting it. They put me to sleep and the doctor went in and took it out. Then they put a stint in from my kidney to my bladder. That thing was worse then the stone almost. After a week the doctor pulled it out at his office. I felt good til that night, then i had i think they call it renal colic or spasms. That pain was unreal. It took 2 oxycodones before it stopped hurting. Then i felt better. Now a year later, 3 weeks ago i found i had another one. 6mm this time. The doctor gave me a couple weeks to pass it on my own. Still have it so he wants to do the same thing as last year. Ugh! I hope this time is a cakewalk. lol. Yes, i agree. The iv is terrible. When i was a the hospital a few weeks ago and found out bout the stone, the nurse was giving me the iv missed. I hate them things and she said Oh ive only done this once before. Then she got someone else to do it. Well i hope i get someone who knows what their doing this time. Hopefully it all works out this time. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me about it. Im really dreading it since i had a bad experience last time. Thanks again.

Hugs Melissa

RE: AGAIN!!!
I didn't know her. I was eleven or twelve when she died, but hers was the first murder I ever heard about, and I never forgot about her. Tracy.

RE: Ancestry
Yes, that would be me. I love the "find a grave" site. I am hoping that folks will add their own personal info because in years to come the younger generation won't have a clue. Some one has put a lot of time and effort into creating the site but there are some errors which is not surprising. There is a picture of Plummer and Ella Goins on the site. As I get time I want to add some info on my husbands grandparents along with photo's.
